🏁 CALLING ALL SCENE QUEENS, EMO GIRLS, ALT BADDIES & THE LADIES WHO NEVER REALLY LEFT THEIR WARPED TOUR ERA 🏁

👑🖤 SCENE QUEEN CITY IS YOURS. 🖤👑

On September 12th, thanks to the help of @yoprestoprojects , we’re turning Emo Night NC into SCENE QUEEN CITY — a night celebrating the women who have always been a massive part of alternative music, both on the stage and in the crowd.

And we’ve got the lineup to back it up.

💿 DJ BRI @______b_r_i
💿 DJ BAYSS @bayss.house
🎸 OH! YOU PRETTY THINGS @oyptmusic — bringing a full-band, high-energy, woman-fronted dose of pop-punk & alternative chaos.

Then, of course, we’re keeping the party going with all the emo, pop-punk, screamo, post-hardcore, metalcore and MySpace-era anthems your little black heart can handle.

So break out the fishnets, band tees, studded belts, eyeliner, leopard print, teased hair, Tripp pants, Converse, Vans and whatever else makes your former scene-kid self proud.

This one is for the women who grew up screaming along to Paramore, Avril Lavigne, Flyleaf, Tonight Alive, Evanescence, The Pretty Reckless, Hey Monday, VersaEmerge and every woman who made alternative music feel like home.

👑 SCENE QUEEN CITY
📅 SEPTEMBER 12TH
📍 MUSIC YARD @musicyardclt
⏰ STARTING AT 6:00 PM

Bring your friends. Bring the eyeliner.

ALL HAIL THE SCENE QUEENS. 🖤👑

See y’all in the pit!

🚨 NEXT BAND ANNOUNCEMENT: OH! YOU PRETTY THINGS 🚨

We’re stoked to welcome @oyptmusic to the stage at our upcoming event!!!

Hailing from Charlotte, NC, O!YPT is a five-piece blending the heart and hooks of pop-punk with the grit and energy of alternative rock. And because every great band needs a good origin story, this one started back in 2017 when Callie Wolfe and Joe Conde decided to form a band after a night of D&D. Honestly, it doesn’t get much better than that.

Joined by Paul Swanson on bass, Travis Wonderly on guitar and scream vocals, and Triston McKinney on drums, Oh! You Pretty Things has spent the years since building something that goes beyond just the music.

They’ve toured nationally, earned radio play, performed for massive crowds, and released two EPs alongside a growing collection of singles. But what really stands out to us is the community they work to create—using their music to connect with people, making their shows a safe and welcoming space, and challenging the norms of the music industry along the way.

And, most importantly for Emo Night…

These folks know how to put on a SHOW!

High energy, loud guitars, huge hooks, and plenty of reasons to get yourself to the front of the room.

Come see what Oh! You Pretty Things is all about when they join us for Emo Night NC: Scene Queen City — September 12th! 🖤

Get ready, Charlotte. This one’s gonna rip.

🏁 CHARLOTTE — SHE’S BACK. 🏁

We’re hyped to welcome @______b_r_i back to Emo Night NC for SCENE QUEEN CITY! 🖤👑

This familiar face behind the decks is no stranger to our dance floor, Bri is returning ready to bring the energy and keep Scene Queen City rocking all night.

Expect emo. Alternative. Throwback. Bangers. And prepare to be screaming along every word with a drink in your hand.

This night is all about putting the spotlight on the women who make our community what it is — and we couldn’t do Scene Queen City without having Bri back in the mix.
