We fuss about ALL the details with our bagels…and that shiny, blistered crust you love to tear into is a product of design. It takes several calculated steps to get there, and the rolling of the bagel is one very important step in that process.

Hey SELLWOOD! We’re back this FRIDAY at @attention.coffee for another BAGEL & BIALY drop! Get your bagel fix and make sure to stock the freezer while you’re at it, our bagels freeze and reheat beautifully.

Pre-orders are open now! And remember, if you’re looking for poppy, onion, or garlic, we ONLY make those to pre-order. And we often sell out of the specialty bagels (rosemary sea salt, egg, cinnamon raisin, blueberry) in pre-orders.

*also, this is NOT AI content. Shannon makes the flyers herself in Canva and writes the copy.

Our bagels make such pretty sandwiches, don’t they?

Yeah! Pretty delicious! by @empirestatebagels

Hey Portland and Roseway neighbors! We are going to be doing a pop up this SUNDAY at Makin’ Groceries Cafe! Buy your bagels from us, and they’ll make them into bagel sandwiches!

If you don’t know about Makin’ Groceries Cafe, they are a pay-what-you-can Cajun restaurant (that also does brunch!) that offers amazing food that is accessible to everyone. They’ll be offering a couple of different sandwich options. Find them at @landing_paper_planes

And of course we will be at the @happyvalleyfarmersmarket on Saturday for the second to last market of the season! by @empirestatebagels

Come see us in NE PDX at our pop up today and get your bagel AND coffee fix at @seeseemotorcoffee by @empirestatebagels

When your customers take better food photos than you do…

Bagel sandwiches for the win! Find us tomorrow at the @happyvalleyfarmersmarket and on Sunday at @seeseemotorcoffee by @empirestatebagels

Once upon a time, we owned a motorcycle shop in Portland and Joe built and worked on bikes…he was (still is) a pretty brilliant mechanic and no one knows electrical like he does. These days we’re making bagels, and we’re pretty stoked to bring what we do to @seeseemotorcoffee this Sunday. It feels like coming full circle.

And as always, you can find us on Saturdays at the @happyvalleyfarmersmarket for the remainder of October. After that, we move to pre-orders only. by @empirestatebagels

We are absolutely in love with our new Whipped Ricotta Pumpkin Butter Bialy. It’s the perfect meet up spot for Fall flavors that are sweet without being too sweet and spiced without being too spicey.

FIRST LAYER: Whipped ricotta with orange zest and homemade pumpkin spice, with a touch of maple (we absolutely eat this right off the spoon)
SECOND LAYER: Pumpkin Butter. Full stop.
THIRD LAYER: Crunchy candied pecans and a drizzle of our homemade brown butter maple sauce. by @empirestatebagels

Bagels + A beautiful fall day by @empirestatebagels

Why yes, we absolutely do eat our own product. Repeatedly.

P.S. Joe has no idea I took this photo and he also has no idea I’m posting it. 😉 by @empirestatebagels
