We present to you our newest member of hair and skin oils: Hibiscus and Olive Oil.

This potent blend packs a moisturising and soothing punch for dull, dry, and cracked skin as well as damaged, coloured or processed hair. Continue reading to find out the ingredients and their respective benefits:

🌺Hibiscus flower contains oleic and linoleic acids which have anti-inflammatory and moisturising properties making it ideal for dry, irritated skin and scalp. Hibiscus reinforces the skin's natural protective barrier, evens out skin tone, reduces redness and acne, and balances sebum production as well as scalp pH. Vitamin A and flavanoid are components of Hibiscus that aid in the renewal of skin cells. These components also provide antioxidant protection from oxidative stress which promotes collagen production and improves skin elasticity.

🫒Olive Oil is rich in a skin-loving fatty lipid called Squalene which is highly moisturising and prevents transepidermal water loss. Squalene can mimic sebum which helps to control sebum production on both the skin and scalp. It also reduces frizz as it fills the gap between cuticle cells which combats hydral fatigue as a result of damaged hair with poor porosity. Ultimately, this allows for the prevention of split ends and breakage, promoting overall hair health, growth, softness and shine. Soothing and calming the skin and scalp, are other pros of olive oil due to a compound called oleocanthal which relieves discomfort thanks to it's antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.
