We cannot afford to move forward as a people without walking in the wise words and philosophy of Marcus Garvey. He alone was able to being together 500 million black people around the world with his words of black empowerment. These words will always at the heart of what we do and his actions will always be the ideal future for our children. Selah!❤🖤💚 by @empressmenenchronicles

We are truly saddened and sickened at the news that police authorities had the audacity to cut the locks of our young queen Nizingah. This was not only uncalled for, but dehumanizing to Nizingah and young Rastafari women all around the world. The frustration that we are filled with is immeasurable, and we demand answers from the Jamaican Police System. We also demand a END to this white supremacist mindset that is still leaving a stamp on the black world. Please, if you all know this family or a Lawyer In Jamaica, don't hesitate to reach out. by @empressmenenchronicles

"Honor your mother, honor your father for your days will be longer." Where would we be without the contribution of the African mother? Her womb is where all of creation was born. Civilizations were founded on her watch. Nations depended on her excellence. May we continue her legacy by honoring her everyday and devoting on to our mothers as they have devote onto us.

Today is the day!! On this day 130 years ago the ideal black woman was born. A woman that would wear her crown before the world, and use her voice as a vessel for the black woman. Her service to Ethiopia- and the black world in general- is immeasurable. -She built the Kechene Orphanage, she also assisted with the building of the -Princess Tsehai Hospital, and used her voice to advocate war and its effects on women. So, to all our sisters and brothers all over the Rastafari world: let this day be known as the day of our mother! Selah 🍃 by @empressmenenchronicles
