Don’t waste your time running after people who don’t want to be in your life. If they block you, stop talking to you, or don’t pay attention to you, it’s better to just let them go. Instead, focus on the people who genuinely enjoy spending time with you and like you for who you are. We often try too hard to keep people in our lives, worrying that they’ll leave us. But the people who really matter are the ones who choose to stick around without being pressured or chased. Appreciate them, because they’re the ones who really value you. They are the ones who stay. Its funny how simple words can give us such a perspective into who we are the highly sensitive tend to be philosophical or spiritual in their orientation, rather than materialistic or hedonistic. They dislike small talk. They often describe themselves as creative or intuitive. They dream vividly, and can often recall their dreams the next day. They love music, nature, art, physical beauty. They feel exceptionally strong emotions sometimes acute bouts of joy, but also sorrow, melancholy, and fear. Highly sensitive people also process information about their environments both physical and emotional unusually deeply. They tend to notice subtleties that others miss another person’s shift in mood, say, or a lightbulb burning a touch too brightly.

Never doubt yourself. Never doubt who you can make happy because you’ve made me happy. And that’s a hard fucking task. Writing content is a task on itself. In both forms. And together.

Your black eyes stalking through me. With a birdcage for ribs, that vultures trying to get out. It's scratching your kidney wings. We're no longer feeding ourselves, the raccoons are eating our dreams. - listener
