INTRODUCING THE ARTISTS: @empyrium_official_
-30 YEARS OF ‚A WINTERSUNSET‘-

Since their founding in 1994, EMPYRIUM have been recognized as pioneers in blending dark folk, doom, and atmospheric metal. Combining acoustic passages, orchestral arrangements, and poetic lyrics, they create landscapes that move seamlessly between melancholy and beauty.

For this year’s Prophecy Fest, our friends in EMPYRIUM will deliver a special performance: marking three decades of ‘A Winter Sunset…‘, they will play their legendary debut.

Join us in nostalgia, honoring this one-of-a-kind experience!

Five years ago, our music video for Empyrium’s “Three Flames Saphire” was released via @prophecypro . To this day, it remains one of the dearest works @olli.firtan and I have ever created.

I remember how the music and the underlying folk tale immediatly captured me and under which circumstances we had to realize our vision. 2020 forced us to improvise, to adapt, to work with what (and who) we had close - a chance to turn limitations into something intimate and true.
Thank you @markusstock_photography for your continued trust, it is always a pleasure to paint your music into moving pictures.

And thank you @void.conqverer and @l.schth for dancing through the icy moor with me🖤 by @empyrium.de

Two days left until „Über den Sternen“ will be released.

Some might already have their copies, others will receive them very soon or can stream the album this Friday.
So how do you like „Über den Sternen“ if you heard it already?
We are still super satisfied with the outcome of the album musically but also we are very stoked about how the „special editions“ turned out. Just check the pictures here for some impressions from the Artbook release.
I am especially proud since all the nature photographies have been captured by myself. Check @markusstock_photography here on Instagram if you haven’t already.
Now, unfortunately the Artbook is already sold out, which is incredible of course, but also a little unfortunate for those who wanted one but didn’t get one from the first batch. I’ve been in communication with the label now about maybe releasing a second edition of the Artbook. Good idea? What do you think?

Follow @empyrium_official_ and give it some love!
