PROUDEST MOMENT♥️ One of the biggest honors of my life happened tonight.

Tonight, Visit Philly honored 30 legends at their 30th anniversary gala celebrating the people who shaped Philadelphia tourism over the last 30 years…

As a creator, being included in a night like this meant everything to me.

Not just as a content creator, but with The “Most Philly Feed” award.

For someone who moved here and found a true home in this city, this means more than I can explain.

Getting to witness the impact this organization has had on Philadelphia for decades while also feeling my own Philly story seen and appreciated tonight was incredibly emotional for me.

I moved to this city and started writing a new story for myself..

in a place i truly love living in and sharing, this time i was on stage.

being part of the InfluencerCon panel at the @visitphilly Philadelphia Hospitality Symposium meant a lot to me.

it was also really special to be moderated by @farahstacy , one of the first people i met in this city. she guided the conversation so effortlessly and made it such a great experience for all of us.

sharing that stage, learning and building our stories together, made it even more meaningful. ❤️‍🔥

Hey y’all😘 These are all just my personal thoughts, but being a content creator has been such an incredible choice for me. Especially as an immigrant.

Sometimes you feel richer than the richest person in the room, not because of money, but because you get to experience things money alone can’t create. You become part of communities, meet so many people, and somehow build a life around all of it.

After four years of doing this, one of my favorite things is simply walking around the city and almost always running into someone I know. Having weeks filled with events, collaborations, new places and new people is something I’ll never take for granted.

But I’ve also noticed how easy it is to burn-out ‼️ in this industry. At some point, I realized I don’t need to be at every event, accept every collaboration, or create something every single day.

Over the past year, I’ve actually become much happier cooking at home, having friends over, leaving my phone somewhere else, and letting some moments just be moments instead of content.

I still love what I do. I just don’t think I need to be doing it all the time. ❤️ taken in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania by @emrekara_e

4 years in Philly and I’ve experienced A LOT. And every once in a while I’ll go somewhere or do something and think, “I’m so glad we have this here because I’d be so jealous if another city had it and we didn’t.” 😂
