My darling Cleo. I lost you today. Just one day before your 19th birthday… I am struck with such grief today in an empty house now without you. You have been with me for almost half my life & I have loved every moment of being your mother. I’ll miss how you loved picking out an outfit for me in my closet by tugging on a blouse, or how you always jumped in my suitcase while I was packing, meowing for tuna like you were singing, and enjoying the sunshine from the window ledge waiting for me to come home.
