stagnant
image transfer on galvanized steel
2026

Stagnant explores the disconnection and inner monologues during the state of self-reflection. Through manipulated metal, punctured markings, and distorted text, this work communicates the passing of time and internal change experienced while the external world appears unmoving. The text exists only on the surface layered repeatedly but never absorbed. by @ems.editions
