San Diego, you showed up. 💗

We’re still taking in everything that made the GBT Summit 2026 so special.

A full day of learning, connection, conversations, and a community brought together by a shared vision for the future of dentistry… followed by a rooftop celebration we won’t soon forget.

To every attendee, speaker, trainer, partner, vendor, and member of the EMS team who brought this experience to life: thank you.

This is what happens when education becomes community. 🫶

And trust us… we have a LOT more to share. 👀

San Diego was one for the books.

7 days until we’re together in San Diego. 🩷

There’s something different about being in a room full of people who are just as passionate about changing the way we think about prevention.

The conversations. The connections. The ideas you take home with you. And yes, a little fun along the way. 😉

We’re almost there, GBT community. If you’ve been thinking about joining us, there’s still a little room left. 👀

Why am I the only dentist not worried about the hygienist shortage?

Because I stopped treating hygiene like a support role and started treating it like the foundation of everything.

The practices losing hygienists are the ones where hygienists feel like they’re just cleaning teeth. Clocking in, clocking out, no ownership, no voice, no clinical identity.

When you implement Guided Biofilm Therapy, something shifts.

Your hygienist can now see the biofilm before a single instrument touches the tooth. They can show the patient exactly what’s causing the disease. They stop accepting bleeding and deeper pockets as normal. They start setting higher standards because they finally have the tools and the science to back them up.

That’s not just better dentistry. That’s a hygienist who feels like what they do actually matters.

And hygienists who feel that way don’t leave.

If you want to understand the science behind this and see what it looks like to build a hygiene team that owns patient outcomes, come to the GBT Summit San Diego on September 25th.

This is the room where that shift starts. by @emsdental_stacey

Some experiences stay with you long after the day is over.

This September, we invite you to San Diego for a day of learning, innovation, and connection with clinicians who share a passion for elevating preventive care through Guided Biofilm Therapy.

Every conversation. Every discovery. Every moment has the potential to shape what comes next.

That’s a wrap on CDA 2026 ✨

Thank you to everyone who visited us at Booth 2208 this week.

From familiar faces within the GBT community to clinicians discovering Guided Biofilm Therapy for the first time, it was incredible connecting with so many professionals passionate about prevention and patient-centered care.

We were excited to share the new GBT Machine and its enhanced connectivity while continuing conversations around the future of biofilm management and minimally invasive dentistry.

Thank you for being part of the growing GBT community. We look forward to continuing the journey together.

Until next time, CDA 👋

🦷✨ GBT saturdays ✨🦷

Worked a full day of hygiene with one of my favorite humans 🥹🫶🏼

And getting back into the operatory reminded me… I really love what we do.

I love that EMS works with hygienists. They trust us. Rely on us.
Because days like this? They make sense when you’ve lived it.

We weren’t rushed, we weren’t drained, and it didn’t feel like we were just trying to “get through” the day.

GBT just gives you…

TIME to think
space to assess
space to actually connect with your patient

And somehow, the appointment becomes more productive without feeling heavier.

That’s the part people miss.

It’s not about doing more. It’s about building more within the time you already have.

Practices grow not by packing the schedule, but by elevating the experience.

lowkey… I’d do this again immediately 🦷✨

Great time @speareducation Symposium! It’s always a privilege to be surrounded by clinicians who are truly raising the bar in dentistry. by @emsdental_stacey

GBT isn’t expensive…
Ignoring science is.
The clinical results, biofilm control, patient outcomes, and long-term oral health benefits FAR outweigh the financial investment.
Our hygienists deserve the tools that deliver REAL care — not whatever insurance decides to reimburse.
It’s time dentists stand up, break free from low-paying plans, and practice the level of prevention our patients deserve. by @emsdental_stacey
