Autumn in Rainier is so magical 🍁
PSA: Never feed or intentionally approach wildlife. This lil Cascade Fox didn’t beg for food, it stopped to look at me for a second, but continued on the path behind me. Was very curious and non-threatening. But of course with any wild animal, be always ready for anything.
Due to some closures in the park I was lucky enough to have this entire lake to myself when this happened. taken in Mount Rainier by @emsimsy

My lovely friend @emsimsy came to visit me on Salt Spring Island and brought all the good mushroom luck ❤️‍🔥 Laetiporus conifericola 🍄‍🟫🐓🌲

Except for some oyster mushrooms many moons ago, I haven’t come across any edible mushrooms in the wild this year - so when I say I was excited…I was EXCITED.

Thinking ‘bout life & stuff.

This year had a lot of firsts. I feel so lucky to have the people in my world and incredible opportunities to grow my career, build my future and explore more of this beautiful planet. I feel like I have been given countless chances in life and been so fortunate to have formed meaningful relationships and received love in so many different forms. While there are periods I have been in a constant state of feeling that I’m doing too much or never enough, there is one belief that stays true (and always will).

Grow deep roots in your passions, so that no matter what hardships, loss or heartbreak happen along the way- you will bloom again. by @emsimsy

Truly cannot believe I live here.
We got incredibly lucky on a gorgeous blue sky day. Saw my first humpback and minke whales, and saw my second pod of Orcas!! What a freaking dream, my heart is so full 💕 If I ever go missing it’s probably because I bought a sailboat and am now trying to befriend every whale/large dolphin. taken in San Juan Islands by @emsimsy

People told me I was dumb to get two cats at 20… and man they were right! Whoops. But I can’t imagine my life without them. Together we’ve lived through countless apartments, roommates, boyfriends, mental breakdowns, and life changes.
Bunny and Luna, thank you for enduring my songs about your chonkyness (usually set to the tune of a Disney song), the stupid nicknames, and letting me come home drunk to smother you with my love. You make me see the light in the world and I am so lucky to have you. I hope I have been a good mom to you and given you all the love you deserve. I have also decided you’re not allowed to die. Okay?
