To bring this campaign to life, we collaborated with 10 local artists. Each created unique typography inspired by the landmarks, signage and traditions of their home cities. Couple snippets from the title sequence for SNLᵁᴷ 🎬🪩 Was proper fun shooting the titles for Saturday Night Liveᵁᴷ across a collage of classic British nightlife settings. In the chip shop, a black cab, outside the pub, and coming out of a corner shop. A combination of photography and film. Capturing the inside, outside, and the British nightlife culture that encompasses it. It’s fast-paced. The shots are intimate. Close up. Not telling the whole story in a shot, but the combination of shots tells the story instead. We build momentum and pause on each cast member’s moment to the camera before sinking back into the action on a London street. We used photography to capture the textures of British Nightlife, from the patterned pub carpet we know and love to the neon glow of the OPEN sign in the local corner shop window. The S, N, Ls from the logos were embedded into the talent names too! . . . Logo identity for SNLᵁᴷ 🚨 Live, loud and unapologetically British — Saturday Night Live landed in the UK and needed a logo that would feel fresh, exciting and undoubtably British. So we turned to the “S” “N” and “L”s that were already here and part of our Saturday nightlife culture, crafting them into a set of distinct logo marks. The “S” from the local chip shop. The “N” from the Newsagents. The “L” from the pub on the corner. We walked the streets of London photographing then re-drawing and editing the letterforms, coming back to the studio to form different combinations. Always fun to get to play and experiment with type, and a joy to make something that celebrates British nightlife culture. Big love to the team at @stinkstudios 🖤 by @emsjudd

Looking back at the expressive design system created for Riot Games ❇️🎮 Guided by our brand strategy “Creator of Worlds”, the design system draws its DNA directly from Riot’s immersive games such as League of Legends, Teamfight Tactics and VALORANT. The colour palette is pulled from in-game landscapes, while custom patterns channel the energy of character abilities and gameplay movements. To re-energise the brand, we implemented bold, dynamic typography anchored to a responsive grid system.
