silverstone 2026 🏁

this year i was lucky enough to be able to attend silverstone for a second year which, as always, was a super super cool experience and being surrounded by race cars at events like this always reminds me how much i love this type of atmosphere and fuels my passion for motorsports!! this was also my first proper opportunity i have had at shooting formula one cars out on a track and i hope it won’t be the last 🏎️

SEMESTER 2- CREATING YOUR OWN VISUAL LANGUAGE

Photobook Part 2:

This project for my “Creating Your Own Visual Language” module is a reflection of something that’s very special to me not only because of its topic but also it being the first photobook I have produced. My photobook explores the social and cultural world of grassroots motorsports; the early mornings, the passionate individuals within the sport, and the communities that show up not for fame or recognition, but simply for the love of racing. As someone deeply passionate about motorsport, I wanted to use this work to bring attention to the series that often don’t get as much media coverage as others but are the backbone of motorsports.

Being in these environments, not just as a spectator but as someone drawn to the authenticity and energy of it, has shaped how I see this type of motorsport entirely. This book is my attempt to capture those overlooked, little moments and the sense of community and enjoyment that exists on and beyond the track.

A huge thank you to @mendipsraceway and @standlakearenaofficial for allowing me to photograph their events, and to those who took the time to share their thoughts, stories, and experiences of grassroots motorsport. This project wouldn’t exist without your generosity and collaboration.

This one means a lot to me and I can’t wait to make more photobooks!
