If you’ve ever been slightly confused by my various corners of Instagram, this post is for you!
I write as both Becky Hunter and Emily Stone, and I’m also one half of Ellis Hunter (@ellishunterauthor ) alongside Katie Ellis-Brown…. Because writing under one name just isn’t enough 😂
I’ve met so many cool people on here and so grateful to everyone who has championed any one of my books - so a huge thank you to all of you! I’m trying to get better at this, so stay tuned for all things festive romance (yes, in a heatwave), book recs, and general writing life. Plus obviously Little Dog updates. ✨ COVER REVEAL ✨

Delighted to be able to reveal the UK cover for COUNTING DOWN TO YOU, my new festive romance coming this autumn (and available to request on NetGalley now!)

This is the story of Ali, who is grieving the loss of her best friend Robyn. But Robyn hasn’t completely left Ali yet - she’s left her an advent calendar for December, filled with challenges, not chocolates. Determined to throw herself into the challenges, Ali finds herself packing for a month long stay in the alps - but when she meets her new sexy manager, Leo, things get a little more complicated when everyone already thinks they’re dating…

Yes, there are sad bits but this one was so much fun to write and I think it might be my favourite yet. Can’t wait (although also panicking) for readers to meet Ali, Robyn and Leo.

Same writer, different names! ✍🏻

I know a lot of authors write under different names for different genres and some of them still surprise me. These are mostly the US jackets for all of my books bar one (one of them co-written with one of my BFFs 💕). Look how FUN they are all together!

I think a part of you goes into every single book, and you learn something with each one. Weekend event wrap up!

Huge thank you to the wonderful @tealeavesandreads for inviting me to their WONDERFUL festival to talk about my new book, Counting Down to You. They even did cupcakes 😭😭.

Got to hang out with so many wonderful people - including lunch with @georginamooreauthor - although it was somewhat of a fleeting visit as I had to jump on a train to Newcastle for @onceuponatynefest with my @ellishunterauthor hat on. It was so much fun, highlight being sipping and painting, where the painting actually went so much better than expected (possibly helped by the sipping).

Getting tagged in a good review is the actual dream - if you’re having a bad day or thinking that you just can’t write, it really does give you the energy to keep going.
