September 25th 2025 , @emluuxas & myself took on the biggest project we could have ever asked for 😂 I’ve kept this video pretty hidden from the world , cause I hated how much of a disaster the property was , only our realtor @ryan.browncentury21.ca our families & close close friends had ever seen what it looked like in this state. Luckily we trusted the vision, saw past the piles of garbage, the infinite amount of things that needed to be fixed & replaced , & decided we could tackle it 🤪 fast forward ⏩

August 1st 2026 , after 100+ dump trips, 200$ of bottles picked off the ground, 30+ burn piles , more irrigation & hoses then one could imagine , every single new appliance & well system , tons of sweat & tears , more back breaking work then you could even think of , mice, mouse shit & spiders everywhere & endless cleaning. Thankfully we had some help from the best neighbours we could ask for & endless help from our parents, this place is really starting to feel like the property we had in our dreams. Though there is still tons of work to be done , it’s nice to stop & remind ourselves how far we’ve already come in just 10 months 🤠 && its still the best decision we’ve ever made 💚

We cannot wait to show you more at the wedding! 🤪🤠 been trying our best to not give everything away 🤫

Enjoy some flowers we’ve grown here this summer 👉🌸🌺

Oh and some fruits 😍

2025 was a year that I doubt I’ll ever forget. From skiing weekly with the pals and hosting our record amount of girls ride days. To camping ALL OVER bc with my favourite boys and searching for our forever farm. It was a year we felt big loss, huge changes, the most joy ever (we got to welcome the sweetest lil nephew the same day our offer was accepted), the year I had to drive a uhaul for the first time and the last full year with Lucas as my last name 💛 too stoked to see what 2026 has in store taken in Kettle Valley by @emvaltr

We finally found our little slice of heaven 💚 after spending almost a year searching for the perfect piece of land , we finally found it. It’s been about two months now of just steady grinding , leaking pipes, fixing everything , dump trips, renovating & building but slowly but surely we will be putting the love & life back into this beautiful property we’re happy to call ours 💚 thank you so much to our amazing families & friends who have been so helpful with this process , without you amazing people we wouldn’t have been able to do this. Also a huge thank you to @philipbamberrealestate for helping us sell & @ Ryan Brown for being so patient with us & looking at sooooo many properties , we’re forever thankful for the help 💚 all the nice photos taken by @carteredwardss 💚 #countryhouse #acres #wedidit taken in Kettle Valley by @emvaltr
