i figured my grand canyon experience needed its own post :) sometimes i forget to breathe and this was one of those moments

holding my breath is unfortunately a common thing that i do that i’m not always aware of, sometimes it’s bc of my anxiety, my fear of (almost) everything, or excitement from moments of joy throughout my day

but here in this moment it was pure excitement 💐💗 i was shaking from the fact that i was 10000 of feet in the air, my hands were clammy, my heart was pounding, i forgot how to walk lolll but despite being afraid of how high up i was i felt grounded, i felt still :)

i was up there sitting w myself just thinking about how long it took me to grow on me haha i’m v happy to have given myself the space to do that after all these years (obvs it’s still a work in progress) but i love me, i love all the things that make me emily. i’m excited to still be alive, to grow older and also grow more into myself!

i’m taking on 24 head first ♎️🏇
