I had a BLAST working on this dream project at @buck_design for @spotify — thanks to the best art direction and creative direction from @strooope @debora_cheyenne and @tschmid88!

This was absolutely a team effort, of course, but here are a few pieces I had my grubby mitts on — my fav was def K-Pop which is near and dear to my heart as a music genre. 💜 Check out the whole project and credits on the Buck site! It was an A+ all-star team.

Neal Stephenson’s Snow Crash is one of my fav sci-fi novels, so I had to pay homage (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵) The Deliverator is my Roman Empire 🚗💨

“The Deliverator’s car has enough potential energy packed into its batteries to fire a pound of bacon into the Asteroid Belt. Unlike a bimbo box or a Burb beater, the Deliverator’s car unloads that power through gaping, gleaming, polished sphincters. When the Deliverator puts the hammer down, shit happens. You want to talk contact patches? Your car’s tires have tiny contact patches, talk to the asphalt in four places the size of your tongue. The Deliverator’s car has big sticky tires with contact patches the size of a fat lady’s thighs. The Deliverator is in touch with the road, starts like a bad day, stops on a peseta.”

Been slowly cranking this one out the past couple weeks ⁺˳✿ This is me telling the world that I want to do this kind of work forever (because what you give to the world comes back three-fold). Enjoy ::)

The love I got on this story yesterday was incredible 🖤 Sharing here too in case it might encourage someone to keep creating their weird, human art. From my POV, creating your "meaningless" art right now (despite this capitalist hellscape telling you not to) is just... punk rock.

I poured my 💜 into this quick piece commissioned by @newyorkermag — for a story on BTS and what it means to be an ARMY. Being an ARMY myself, I wouldn’t dare pass up an opportunity to tell the world how much they mean to me. No one can ignore their influence — the article emphasizes how ARMYs look to them in these times of death and destruction not for escape, but for joy, positivity, self-love, and connection.
