video tour of the works i exhibited last week in Lisbon, during the joint exhibition Tears and Mud, with @tjelle_esrom

using disposable packaging materials as calligraphic canvases, i wrote out lyrics from the poetry collection conceptualised while grieving at Sziget music festival last summer.

i had a visual of myself running around the festival island imprinting poetry on every piece of fleeting material, memory and moment i could find. attempting to make something impermanent last or at least linger for a little longer.

Tears and Mud, an exhibition with @tjelle_esrom opening next Thursday at 6PM at @monolisboa ⭐️

i will be presenting the work i have created during my two month residency in mono. the work will be in a variety of media (hand drawn text on different packing materials, video, spoken word, sound design, installation..) all based on a collection “poems written under the strobe lights while the bass is shaking my ribs”.

“Poems are conceived in the context of music festivals, ephemeral spaces where rhythm, repetition and fleeting energy produce forms of belonging. Daily and temporary materials become altars of memory, transforming what is normally discarded into permanent traces of experience. In a time marked by the collapse of traditional belief systems, words are imprinted on materials and bodies as a ritual gesture and a possibility for collective healing.” text by @chiarabelllo

celebrating a VERYYY special personal holiday today which is the 10 year anniversary of the first time i met my bezzi @luka.rajic ❤️♎️✨🥹🌈🐬 i had no idea that meeting up for coffee with someone i met on the internet would be walking through a portal that will completely shape my life ! before we met i used to watch perks of being a wallflower every night and i would dream of having a friendship like that and now when i see scenes from my favorite movie i think about our memories the life we have created and aaaaall of the art we made together. bezziiiiii i swear were infinite ❤️❤️❤️❤️ taken in Friendships is life by @emzokini
