Art has been the one constant in my life through everything. It’s how I process, express, and make sense of the chaos. Now I want to tell you my story. Creating seems to have been the one constant in my life through everything daunting and challenging but also beautiful and fruitful. I fell in love with art around age 9 or 10- such as: sewing, painting, drawing, pottery.. I spent hours in studios as a kid, creating with my hands and heart. I played sports too (cheer + tumbling + softball were my fav), but nothing ever felt like making art did. It’s always been home. Around age 12, things got harder. I was diagnosed with multiple mental health conditions, and between 12–15 I felt lost- like I’d never know myself or my purpose because I wasn’t able to understand what was wrong with me. My family didn’t either. In those years, painting and drawing became my hobby again. I didn’t tell anyone about it though. When COVID hit, things got worse. I struggled with self-abuse and disconnection from reality, but painting was still there. My escape. My outlet. I made a lot of work that I still ‘advertise’ during this time. Such as “Cosmic Visions” & “Trippy Portals” As I entered adulthood, I faced new struggles: serious physical health issues that again shook my mental health. I started feeling both happy and depressed, existing in two worlds at once. “Why me?” Remained all the time. I turned to natural healing, herbs, spirituality, witchcraft, and energy work to keep going, and it inspired a new layer of meaning in my creations. I began making clothing with affirmations and intention. I wanted to use color to uplift, so I leaned into vibrant tie-dye. But after hearing critical comments, I started doubting myself and eventually returned to painting: my first love and truest voice. (I do still tie dye, frick em) My health struggles continue, but I’m still here. I may not have found my final style yet, but I trust the right people will feel what I create. If my story speaks to you, if you’ve healed through art, felt misunderstood, or just love soulful work, stick around. This is my truth, my art, and I’m truly grateful you’re here. by @enchanted.eco

I found this poem and wanted to share so I figured I’d slap some of my life on here and post er to the gram. I hope it means as much to you as it does to me <3 Instructions before visiting Earth In the event that you wake up
and find your soul separated from source
and manifest into material form, don’t panic.
Your condition is only temporary. You have been selected for the opportunity
of human incarnation. This 3D simulation is designed
to break up the monotony of eternity
by giving you a fully immersive experience
as a distinct ego identity. Your body will serve
as your physical avatar
as you navigate a dense and dramatic reality.
There will be many distractions
causing you to forget your true nature and origin.
You will experience a range of emotions
from joy to loneliness to despair. But remember – no matter
what trials and traumas you encounter,
your soul remains perfectly safe. At times you may feel lost or afraid.
This is totally normal.
If you ever need guidance,
simply slow down your busy mind
and bring your awareness
to the quiet place
inside yourself. On this planet, nothing is permanent.
People and things will come and go.
You will fall in love and form sentimental attachments
only to lose everything you hold dear. So cling to nothing too tightly, even yourself,
and when it’s time to let go, let go with grace,
for nothing is owned, only borrowed. As you walk among
the people on the planet,
try to be a good guest.
Tread lightly. Remember
that you are only visiting.
Don’t make a mess.
Listen more than you speak.
Give more than you take. Don’t keep your soft heart
locked inside a glass cage,
protected from wear and tear. You’ll never make it out alive
and time passes quickly.
So come back with some battle scars
