Not taking packing advice from a current overpacker, respectfully. 😌But advice from a retired overpacker? That’s different.Here’s what finally helped me pack less and pack better:- Check the weather before you start.- Plan complete outfits that mix and match.- Choose versatile, wrinkle-friendly fabrics.- Bring travel-size toiletries.- Limit yourself to 2–3 pairs of shoes.- Repeat outfits. No one notices.- Leave space for souvenirs.- Pack for one week, even for longer trips.- Remember: most forgotten items can be bought at your destination.The goal isn’t to fit more into your suitcase.
