The Salty 70 at @wagga_gearsandbeers. Fantastic conditions following the rain and hail of the previous day. Beers were well earned. It’s been a while since I’ve been on the gravel. by @endelburg

A big patch of grass, with an oddly placed fence and even more oddly locked gates. Past the half way point turning back west on Suburban Dirt Festivus Ride Beer-Run. #suburbandirt by @endelburg

Access road to nowhere. There used to be a nice roller path made of fallen logs to the left, but the trail got dug up to make ridiculous kicker jumps making it unridable. It has been reclaimed by the scrub since I was here on last year’s Suburban Dirt Beer-Run Festivus ride. The remaining dirt road is being used as rear access to some houses and a car park for abandoned boats. #suburbandirt by @endelburg

In amongst the trees and ferns, in what amounts to a drainage ditch. Suburban Dirt Festivus Beer-Run. #suburbandirt by @endelburg

Between creeks, backyard fences and sports ovals. A web of carved paths through greenery and grass fields. Suburbs filled with hidden trails. Sometimes all it takes is a lack of footpath. From the Suburban Dirt Festivus Beer-Run. #suburbandirt by @endelburg

A scramble of small ruts, roots and bumps on the Suburban Dirt Beer-Run Festivus ride. Hard pack, loose over hard pack. No other options in the very dry Australian summer!! #suburbandirt by @endelburg

Suburban Dirt Festivus Beer-Run. Crossing the shire. Some parts of the green corridor have been fenced, one council reserve has had someone try and claim it as private property, and a bunch of trail has been dug up to make some poorly assembled jumps, but there is still a winding trail through the grass. #suburbandirt by @endelburg

Favourite shot from gears and beers this year. Stick it in the gutter when passing farm equipment. All smiles and waves #gearsandbeers #suburbandirt by @endelburg
