My happy place these days. ❤️ I always look forward to coming here, seeing the progress, and watching this little dream of mine slowly come to life.

Thank you to our clients for their grace and for continuing to remind us that we are on the right path. 🤍

Our 10/10 couple had to completely pivot their wedding plans just days before the event due to the weather. What was originally planned as a beautiful backyard wedding at their parents’ home had to be moved indoors.

Unfortunately, Saturday’s rain was not forgiving. Shortly after our couple made their grand entrance and finished their speech, the power went out. The entire room was pitch black, with only the flickering of the votive candles on the tables.

Our team simply couldn’t stand by and do nothing.

Thankfully, we had two portable power stations with us. We offered one to the caterer so they could help keep the food warm, and we used the other to power our photo booth light so guests could see well enough to enjoy their dinner.

Once dinner was over, we transitioned the power back to the photo booth so guests could still take photos and create memories before our team left for the evening.

This is one of those moments that reminded us that event planning is about so much more than making things look beautiful. Sometimes it means adapting, problem-solving, and doing whatever you can with what you have to help keep someone’s special day moving forward.

We’re incredibly grateful to our clients for trusting us through the unexpected and for allowing us to be part of moments like these. 🤍

Our client had such a beautiful vision for entrance draping on her wedding day, and we were so excited to bring it to life. Unfortunately, Mother Nature had other plans. 🤍

We kept trying to make it work, but after the wind knocked it down for the fourth time, I knew I couldn’t leave it up and risk something happening later.

Thankfully there was Plan B and were still able to use the draping beautifully in the cocktail space.

Wedding days don’t always go exactly as planned, and sometimes you have to make the safest and best decision in the moment. I’m so thankful to the planner, designer, and our client for giving us grace and understanding while we adjusted the vision.

Sometimes the backup plan becomes part of the story too. ✨

Yes, I offer rentals. Yes, I can create what you need if necessary. But sometimes, when I know another vendor who can provide exactly what my client is looking for, I have absolutely no problem sharing the referral. 🤍

So much of the growth in my business has come from the connections I’ve made with my vendor friends. Whether we met while working a client’s event or connected through styled shoots, I’ve been able to build relationships with some amazing people in this industry and that’s one of the things I love most about what I do.

There is enough business, creativity, and love to go around. ✨ Supporting one another doesn’t take away from what you offer, it helps build a stronger community.

So this is your cue to connect, collaborate, and build those vendor relationships, because trust me… your vendor friends will take care of you, too! 🫶
