This is a dark dystopian romance. It's enemies to lovers. Like TRUE enemies to lovers. And the MMC is very much touch her and d!3! Margo NEVER disappoints with her books. I was blessed enough to Arc read this and I was HOOKED I stayed up till 2 am reading this. The ending took me out like ARON!!! I DID NOT expect him to do that. I am obsessed with the ending of the book. I'm so happy. It releases day don't walk run to read this book or add to your TBR!!! It's also on Kindle Unlimited!!! 👀 Thank you @margo.smythe.author !! ❤️ by @endlessdarkchapters

🖤 ITS RELEASE DAY FOR TAR CITY !!!! 🖤

⭐⭐⭐⭐

YALLLLLLLLL this book HAD ME ON THE EDGE OF MY SEAT !!! I stayed up WAYYY past my bedtime. It's a Then and now POV between the two main characters. I actually really liked how this was written! It's not very often I read a book that goes back and forth between the past and the present!

It's a dark Paranormal romance about a maybe cursed city and a tar daddy who is morally gray! There are god-like powers in this book with TATTOOED BIKERS AND SOME WHO HAVE PIERCINGS!! (HOW HAWT) Our MMC is a Possessive touch her& d!3 type of guy who knows how to give her a good time IYKYK 😉 I did not expect a certain plot at 90% left of the book. I loved the FMC because she was a strong woman who didn't take anything from anyone INCLUDING the MMC! The yearning in this book !! Ahhh !! This book was good and there was lots of spicy scenes! I did see from the Author you can read this book traditional OR you can read the Then POV all at once and proceed with the Now pov! Go run to big your copy now!! #dᴀʀᴋrᴏᴍᴀɴᴄᴇ #tarcity #arcreview #morallygrey #ʙᴏᴏᴋᴄᴏᴍᴍᴜɴɪᴛʏ by @endlessdarkchapters

This was a 4 ⭐ for me.

The ending leaving me on a cliff hanger?!! Lexi how could you?! Haha just kidding I was lucky enough to receive Pretty Savage to jump right in!! I absolutely love Laurel!! She's so smart and determined. She doesn't back down and sees all the wrong but isn't mean about it. She has been through so much. I love how the relationship with Carson and Laurel has grown. They realize their feelings right before chaos erupts. Sam really grew on me and I feel that in the next book I will like her even more. There's some side characters that I really like and hope to meet more in the book too. This is now on Kindle Unlimited!! Book two is due to release in September. #netgalley #arcread #darkromance #netgallyreviewer #darkacademiavibes by @endlessdarkchapters

The way I squealed so lound when my @allurialbooks box came in. I'm sure the mailman thinks I'm crazy. 😂 I CANNOT wait to read this and the cover is BEAUTIFUL with the sprayed edges!! It's been on my tbr forever!

The deal is simple: Samara unlocks his shackles, and Raphael helps her escape. But he never promised to let her go once they flee the castle...

The last 80% of the book it really picked up. There was a lot going on. It almost felt rushed. It was a very slow burn and a true enemies to lovers. I loved that the side characters were very much a part of the story and were involved through the Journey. I wish there would have been more to do with the Queen as she is mentioned a lot and the history there. I will say I did like the ending. I also liked that this is a standalone!

SPOILER proceed at your own risk.

The HEA ending was so cute and the way it was true love at the end was super cute. I really did like the ending.
