This is your reminder to start drying your Endless Summer® Hydrangeas for fall decor!

Here are some tips to drying your hydrangea blooms:
💙 Make sure your bloom is fully flowered before cutting
💙 Cut when there is no white left in the bloom and it has a crunchy texture
💙 Put your cut in a couple inches of water while it slowly dries
💙 Wait a few weeks for it to properly dry

Let's talk about fall planting! 🍁

Fall is a great time to plant your hydrangeas because of the mild temperatures. If planted in fall, your hydrangeas will become established in the landscape instead of possibly having to deal with harsh heat, sun, and drought.

Here is your full guide to planting in the fall:

🪏 Choose a spot to plant where your hydrangea will receive morning sun and dappled afternoon shade.
🪏 Protect your plant with a layer of mulch around the base. This will help protect it as the cold creeps in when winter arrives
🪏 Water, water, and more water! September may be cooler than summer months, but you still need to water your hydrangeas thoroughly to keep them happy and healthy.
🪏 Do not add fertilizer! Adding fertilizer encourages your hydrangea to grow, something you don’t want your hydrangea to do in the fall. New growth is tender and more susceptible to the cold temperatures.
