オタワのI REFUSEの06年リリースの2nd EP。10月に再結成ライブがあるのでリマスターを施して配信。QUICKSAND,snapcase等のサウンドに猛烈なドライブ感とロッキンテイストを合わせ、太く短く駆け抜けたバンドが帰って来るのはただただ熱い。こういう音源は埋もれさせてはだめ。

Ottawa’s I REFUSE released this 2nd EP back in 2006. With a reunion show coming up in October, they’ve given it a remaster and finally put it up on streaming.
Taking cues from QUICKSAND and Snapcase, they added a ferocious sense of momentum and a strong rock ’n’ roll edge. A band that came on hard, burned bright, and was gone too soon is coming back—and that alone is incredibly exciting.
Records like this should never be left buried.

Originally released in the summer of 2006 as a 7” from now defunct Fountain Records, Endnote is proud to make I Refuse’s sophomore EP, “The Fire Sermon”, available for the first time on streaming.
In celebration of its 20th anniversary, the EP has been newly remastered by Will Killingsworth from @dead_air_studios

While opting for a rawer production, the songs on the Fire Sermon continue to be unapologetically socio-political, with the band’s sound evolving towards a groovier, “post-hardcore” sound.

I Refuse is reuniting for their first show in 14 years this October in their hometown of Ottawa, joined by @terminatorhc @deadboltmtl and @perpetratorhc

EN-017: S/T by Despire

From Vacaville, CA, Despire is a four-piece grungegaze band formed in 2026 by Vocalist & rhythm guitarist Wesson Markowski alongside lead guitarist Jeremiah Denis. Eventually completing their lineup with drummer Jack Roberts and bassist Jesse Broyles. Releasing their debut DIY “Self-Titled” EP in August 2026, Despire carries over elements from bands like Trauma Ray, Narrow Head, and Downward.

Available for shipping or local/show pickup in Southern ON and Eastern CT.
