About 4 years ago, I spent weeks collecting each of these car emblems that I intended to make unique shaped paintings with, but before I did anything with them, I moved on to making some other work and completely forgot about them.… If anyone is interested, I’ll make a fun painting incorporating any of these emblems for $444, dm me with any questions. First come, first served. by @endstagram

SO… @ludwig___schwarz and I have been cooking up a collaborative art publication over the last 6 months with immense help from @alongstrangedream - and I’m happy to announce that the signed and numbered edition of 100 copies has finally arrived!!! Conceived in the Fall of 2025, ‘SCHWINKER’ is a compilation of daily works on paper made during a two week period last October …more details regarding a release event coming soon, but in the meantime you can pick up one of the first 20 copies from @texas_granowski at her @natureofthings_tx table at The Dallas Art Book Fair hosted by @dallascontemporary this weekend! The first 20 people to buy an early release copy from her table will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win the exclusive 1 of 1 boiled copy! More soon ✌🏻🤍 #SCHWINKER taken in Dallas, Texas by @endstagram

I’ll be presenting eight new paintings tonight at @crisworley , as well as a small selection of the works from my first international exhibition last summer in Amsterdam …upon returning from my first trip to Europe where I explored multiple cities in The Netherlands as well as Düsseldorf, Köln, and Berlin in Germany, I spent a few days going through the hundreds of photos that I took overseas. Though I had no real intention of making paintings or work about my travels, small moments and details within my photos began emerging that excited me enough to start experimenting with tight photo crops and intuitive compositional ideas. By mid-October I had a working file of images on my laptop that interested me enough to begin the process of making paintings again after a few busy months of traveling and moving into a new home in Dallas.

Though most of the compositions I arrived at reference commonplace or mundane moments of travel, this particular painting serves as a placeholder for the thousands of incredible paintings I encountered at the many galleries, institutions and kunsthalles I explored in Europe. One of the most exciting exhibitions I visited overseas was a Sigmar Polke exhibition in Berlin at a bizarrely wonderful non-profit exhibition space called Schinkel Pavillon. This painting I made reveals and hopefully gives new life to a small moment within a stunningly large Polke painting that I greatly admired and which I believe is exemplary of his halftone/raster-dot paintings that he began making in the early 60s in reference to the printing process of magazines and newspapers at the time.

Documentation of my exhibition SAMPLE at @psprojectspace in Amsterdam …I couldn’t be happier to be a part of the space’s unique history, which has shown work by renowned artists such as Olivier Mosset, the late Jacqueline de Jong, Steven Parrino, Michelle Grabner and many many more over the last 25 years. Eternally grateful to Jan van der Ploeg for being such an amazing host for the last few weeks and granting me the opportunity to bring paintings to Europe for the first time as a part of our exchange. I’ll be posting lots of my travel pics after I return to Texas on Tuesday and I’m already excited and hopeful to return sometime in the near future to see more of Europe and revisit some of the special spaces and friends I’ve made on this trip. taken in Amsterdam, Netherlands by @endstagram
