When pitching this film, it was framed as a romance. A story about breaking up with something you love deeply in order to chase something greater.

Can you relate?

You don’t always leave because something’s wrong.

Sometimes you leave because staying means not growing.

Wes to Delphi - a short film about the hardest fight: walking away from the place that made you.

Now exclusively on Film Shortage.

Ambitious. An action drama. A boxing film. Hella shots on the list. Contained budget. No one batted an eye. That’s the team we work with. That’s the community.

Wes to Delphi - now live on @filmshortage

The last day in a home gym before everything changes. A young fighter prepares to leave for the Delphi Boxing Academy, stepping into the next chapter, away from the place that built him.

For anyone who knows what it feels like to love something and still have to go. Grateful to everyone who brought it to life.

Today we wrapped our inaugural class of Enelo Pictures interns.

It was an honor to work with Emily, Julianna, and Lucy this fall. Throughout the semester, they were exposed to the inner workings of independent filmmaking, crewing on two short films, researching and developing original concepts, shaping one into a full script, and pitching it to working industry professionals.

Huge thank you to all the filmmakers who supported our interns through 1:1s, pitch feedback, and our talk-back series. Grateful to be part of their journey. by @enelopictures

What a journey for The Boys Outside. A sun-drenched, hazy meditation slice-of-life short film on friendship and brotherhood in adolescence. After a successful fall festival tour across the South, we are excited to be sharing this film today. ⁣⁣

This film is a love letter to those hot, humid North Carolina Summers. The nostalgia and lingo from the early 2000s. The inner child of us all. by @enelopictures
