Snailmail for the notebook of my friend @bnnd. The september challenge: harvest. by @enemuze

Inspired by @bnnd, I made this folder for my friend @enjoy.being.creative. She's a blue lover. So, first I painted the folder in... blue and then decorated it with tissuepaper. I colored the background with Tim Holz watercolor pencils. Added pictures of butterflies, flowers and words of encouragement.

In the process of making snailmail, I think about the person who will receive it and how I can make them smile. I want to let them know how beautiful they are as they are. For me, it's not just the making, it's also the message. It's connecting.

How about you?

I like the snailmail community for all the positivity and encouragement. A place of hope in a world full of tension. @karenelainecreative and @bnnd and @enjoy.being.creative inspired me to spread positive words to lighten up the world. I am learning from these great #artists.

I made these cards, inspired by @karenelainecreative, to encourage people around me. I used images from the magazine Flow. The illustrations of the "Flow-girl" made by @annelindetempelman spread the same positivity!
