Emotional suppression hinders healing and integration. 💯 It’s something I’ve noticed a lot lately, especially among men and individuals recovering from addiction. Men have been conditioned to be strong. So much so that allowing support feels like weakness and letting their guard down feels scary. People in recovery can easily find themselves apologizing for emotions they used to numb via substance use. I’ve been there. As a certified Energy Somatics Practitioner, I hold supportive, sacred space as humans reconnect with their bodies and emotions. If any of this resonates, here’s how I can help: 🌀 @energysomatics sessions (📍Washington, Indiana and surrounding area) Hands-on work that utilizes light touch, breath, movement, and sound to release stored stress and energy ✨1:1 Mentorship sessions (📍Anywhere) Helping you rediscover joy and authentic self-expression in sobriety through embodiment, boundaries, and life-giving spiritual practices My books and DMs are open… ⬇️ Let’s get your healing journey started! #emotionalexpression #emotionalrelease #energyworker #energyhealingtools #washingtonindiana by @energysomatics

Dr. Zach and Dr. Lydia are in the United States for three weeks, and they didn’t go to switch off. They’re completing the Energy Somatics certification with @energysomatics , going deeper into how the body stores stress, how the nervous system holds patterns, and what it takes to create the conditions for real healing at a deeper level. They’re also attending the @kairostrainingculture Facilitator Camp in Lake Tahoe — one of the most respected immersive training experiences in the chiropractic world. This one is about the artistry. The precision. The ability to hold space for transformation in a way that most practitioners never train for. This is what it looks like when your chiropractors never stop growing. Every adjustment you receive is shaped by everything they learn. That’s not something we take lightly. Geelong, we’ll see you on the other side. 🌿 📍 53 Hope Street, Geelong West (5298 1838) by @energysomatics

Your body is the most holy thing about you 🌀 To be spiritual is to be human, the dance of existing in your physical body, always connected to an intelligence that created you But the issues start when we try to bypass the body When we don’t give it the awareness, attention, and intention it deserves When we take it for granted instead of treating it as the temple that it is Most people walk around disconnected from their bodies because they were never taught to build relationship with it, or life taught them that it wasn’t safe to be in your body My job as a coach and as a guide is to help you come back to yourself, to fully inhabit your body in a sacred and intentional way Whether it’s in a training session @given100 or an @energysomatics session, my goal will always be to help you realize the holiness of your wholeness 🌀⚡️ by @energysomatics
Throwback to July 13, 2024 @energysomatics Energy Camp in Dallas, TX.🌀 How I found this work, or rather, how it found me. That day began the reclamation of my voice, discernment, and power. I often compare this experience to Basic Training. I showed up scared, intimidated, dysregulated, lacking self-confidence. I left feeling like “If I can do this, I can do anything.” Being forced outside of my comfort zone created a baseline, lasting sense of safety. Longstanding triggers and trauma responses fell away. Instead of fearing my shadow, I now welcome self-discovery and ongoing inner work. Thank you @drbrettjones and @drkatejones for investing in me, first as a client and now as a student. Thank you for helping me carry this work into the addiction recovery community in a good way. Thank you for believing in me. 🙏🏻 Many people have asked me to explain the mechanics of Energy Somatics. As a fellow “thinker”, I get it. Because the experience is unique to each individual, I’ve chosen to focus more on the results, the “feeling”. Healing requires stepping into the unknown, trusting that someone will be there to help you, guide you, and not hurt you. It doesn’t always look dramatic or showy. Sometimes it looks like showing up just as you are, open to whatever you’re meant to receive. Willing to feel in order to heal. My job is to create a sacred space for you to feel, express, heal, and BE. If you’re ready, I’m ready for you. I have a few client sessions left in April, as part of my Energy Somatics Practitioner certification. These are on a free or donation basis. Drop a comment or DM if you’d like to claim one! 👇🏻 #energysomatics #selfhealingjourney #energyhealing by @energysomatics
“What’s your medicine?” Is a question and discovery we dive into at the ESP. Cert. And by medicine, we mean the wisdom you carry and embody based off your unique life experience. One of the things we love about Energy Somatics is that we built it in a way that supports it being woven into multiple approaches and to stand on its own. Our backgrounds come from chiropractic, breathwork, dance, meditation, shamanic and indigenous practices, integrative somatic trauma therapies, the medicine way, spiritual hygiene practices, and many other disciplines, studies, and initiations from various mentors and spaces. And we bring it all to the table at our Energy Healing Night event- because that’s the wisdom we carry. That’s what makes up the medicine we carry. And that’s what shapes how we can facilitate uniquely for others. ✨We want you to discover your medicine. ✨Who you are meant to serve. ✨How you connect with them. And provide the support structures for you to find your voice in connecting with those people. Because everyone deserves healing. Thank you Amy for your beautiful reflections, and being with us in January 🫶🏼 grateful for how you show up and share! These 4 days are MUCH MORE than just a cool weekend in the desert. Comment “ESP” and we will send you the application to join us 🙏🏼 by @energysomatics
