Very honoured and grateful to the Edmonton Huskies of the CJFL for naming a scholarship in the name of me and my dad. Dad was a coach with them in the 1960’s and spent 40 years from 1978-2018 as their public address announcer. Me? Guess I’ve been around long enough for things like this to happen. Either way, it’s a tremendous honour and I can’t thank Larry Tibble and everyone associated with the Huskies past and present. Go Huskies! #edmontonhuskies #edmontonhuskiesfootball #edmontonfootball #footballalberta #cjfl #pfc by @enger_tim

70 summers ago my grandfather Eric Huestis bought the family cabin at Sylvan Lake. Over the years it’s been a constant in the lives of his descendants and we are proud to carry on the tradition as we closed it up for the season to end its seventh decade. 2025 was a great summer and we’re looking forward to many more. #sylvanlake #sylvanlakealberta #familycabin #mindonlodge by @enger_tim

When you have kids you never know how it will all turn out. They can run the gamut with good and bad choices. You do your best to help make them productive people and be as happy as possible but after a while you just have to rely on them to make good decisions. That is why we couldn’t be prouder of the great choice our son Jamison made in marrying Sydney. Like everyone else, their road ahead won’t be perfect but by choosing each other, they have given themselves their best shot. Mexico was a great place to share their vows and I can’t wait to see where it goes from here. Congratulations you two! #cancun #cancunwedding #whitecourt #chicagobears by @enger_tim

Grateful…. Today I got to do a presentation at the IOC Olympic Museum in Lausanne, Switzerland. For an Olympic junkie like me it was a dream come true. Now that IFAF (football) is an official Olympic sport I got to do my recap of the 2024 World Junior Championship we hosted in Edmonton at the home of the Olympic Movement. So very grateful to IFAF and Football Canada for giving me this opportunity. Dreams do come true 😊 #ioc #footballcanada #football.alberta. by @enger_tim

All set for the (second) Most Wonderful Time of the Year. All the inflatables, lightning lights on the house, and full size chocolate bars to hand it out. I LOVE this time of year!! 🎃 #halloween #halloweendecor #spooky #oct31 by @enger_tim

It’s been seven months since we lost him. Today my Dad would have turned 90. We should all be so lucky to have the long life full of family, friends, and activities that Arnold Martin Enger had. I miss him. Happy Birthday Dad. May you spend in on some heavenly back nine with a scotch waiting for you in the clubhouse. 🏌🏾‍♂️🥃❤️ by @enger_tim

Today my unofficial big brother passed away. Gino Castellan was an amazing mentor for me. For 27 years we worked together on Team Alberta in various capacities. Our performance at the Coaches and Managers meetings at the Football Canada Cup would put the “Who’s on First” routine by Abbot and Costello to shame. Winning five championships with him was wonderful but sharing his friendship was 10 times better. He knew about family and was a part of so many families, including my own, as a de facto uncle, that it’s hard to keep count. He was gruff, opinionated, and stubborn but had a heart of gold. Rest in peace G-Dog 🙏 #ginocastellan #rip #footballalberta. by @enger_tim

End of the line for what my kids have affectionately called the “Loser Cruiser”. After 25 years of driving minivans it’s time to move on. The LC served me for the last eight years. Truthfully, I’ll miss it, but I’m an Audi man now 👍 #losercruiser #dodgecaravan #audi. by @enger_tim

Well, I didn’t get to see them at their height in 1982, but better late than never. Toto was awesome tonight and played all the hits I loved. Sure felt like 1982 😉 #toto by @enger_tim

On December 5, 2023 at 11:30 a.m., Arnold Martin Enger passed away peacefully at the age of 89. He was a very accomplished man in his life and absolutely had a rock star retirement (including playing Senior Men’s hockey for 20 years which he absolutely loved). However, I will remember him best as the best father anyone could hope to have. He will now be back in the arms of my mom, his beloved Donna, who predeceased him by 2 1/2 years. There will be quite the Happy Hour in heaven tonight 😉. Goodnight Dad, I love you. by @enger_tim

It’s always great to coach a team past Halloween. It means you’re playing for a championship. These well dressed players and their teammates will be facing off versus a very good ME LaZerte team on Saturday in the Metro Edmonton Div. III Championship game. Go Ardrossan Bisons and let’s hope the ghosts of victories past are with us. 👍 #metroathletics. #bisonfootball #halloween #football #metrochampionships #footballalberta by @enger_tim
