I think it’s so practical (and sustainable) to knit something you can have in your closet for yeeeears🤍

Slow mornings in Yttervik, wearing my #fawntop by @kisskiss.rhinestones 💙

It was such a fun project to knit. I’ve never knitted a hood before and I think it’s such a nice touch to the vest! The yarn is cashmere bought from from @itaca_yarns by @cardiffcashmere 🫶🏻

I always go through these before picking a new project, so I know I’m more sure about it being something that will last🫶🏻

There is something incredibly rewarding about creating things with your own hands..

Whether it’s with knitting needles or out in the soil.

Lately I’ve been spending a lot of time outside tending to my garden beds and harvesting fresh vegetables.
The other day I finally got to make a stir-fry with my own pak choy, and I even pickled some radishes for burgers today. It was honestly so good!

It’s been a while since this sweater (Ivy Blouse) came off the needles, but it turns out it’s perfect for chilly summer evenings and pottering around in the garden.

What is your favorite knit this time of year? And why?

Stop guessing how much yarn you need🫶🏻

I posted this yarn quantity tutorial a while back but spotted some errors, so I took it down and redid it properly.

In this one I walk you through how to calculate how much yarn you actually need for a pattern, so you’re not guessing at the yarn store or running short mid-project.

Hope it’s helpful this time around! Drop any questions below 👇
