How do you navigate losing your job? In our latest newsletter, @eniitay shares the aftermath of her redundancy, how she coped, and what she learned. Head to the link in bio for the full story. by @eniitay
On a Pophams café bench one rainy day in spring, @eniitay described her career like a family tree, connecting the nodes of people and places that have shaped her into the writer she is. Subair marked her territory at @thefacemagazine as Senior Fashion Features Editor from 2022 until its sudden closure in May 2026 (the magazine has since reopened...again!). While change continues to transpire around her — with new opportunities, new prospects, new ambitions and new dreams — Subair holds onto what she knows: her instincts, her interests, her community, her culture and her ideas. She brings the same commitment and consideration to a runway report on the men’s fall/winter 2026 season as she does to a profile of an emerging designer, a story on the power of solitude, or a discussion of the relentless need to succeed for @britishvogue. Asked whether a writer needs to stay in their lane, Subair politely circles the question, setting no fixed bounds for herself, her peers or the many adoring fans who voraciously read her. She stays agile, embraces possibility, writes what she sees, and, of course, brings us along for the ride. Read her conversation with @rachel___bw at the link in bio – by @eniitay
