Hip-hop at the chicken shop! 🎤🍗 @wonderlandchicken.worthybrew completely transformed last night. They cleared the tables and turned the spot into an intimate venue for a killer show. Bend now has a Turkish/Mediterranean food cart! Find @ekysbend parked @bunkandbrew alongside one other cart and a beer/wine cart. The pod often hosts karaoke, live music and comedy shows. We lucked out with some beautiful serenading while we ate during a ladies night event. Everything we tasted was super flavorful and we enjoyed the experience of dining at the pod but you can also get your order delivered via door dash. Give them a try and support an owner operated spot where you know they are giving it their all❣️⠀What we had…-Gözleme is a traditional Turkish savory stuffed flatbread. Officially opens Saturday July 18th!⠀ Summer on the Westside just got a serious upgrade. @basecamp_bend boasts 40-foot ceilings, 10 food carts and 36 taps. So yeah you’re gonna wanna hang a while. Combining a full craft bar, fresh-cut provisions, and a massive 1,500-sq-ft patio at the Jackstraw development, it’s Bend’s ultimate new destination for award-winning BBQ and local brews. New affordable thrift store in Bend! Shopping @furryfreightthrift helps the mission of @furry.freight ! In 2018, Kim Wilken saw a massive gap between overcrowded shelters out of state and the high adoption demand here in the PNW. She hopped in the driver’s seat, saved lives, and Furry Freight was born. From that very first rescue ride to today, the mission remains the same: driving pets away from danger and straight into forever homes.⠀As someone that’s been thrifting their entire life I had to get there for their first day. I was so happy to see reasonable prices! The kid in me wanted to bring that Light-Brite home for my kids, the mom in me read 200+ pieces and left it there. I did leave with some clothes, awesome treasures for our fairy garden as well as a cool banana hammock that I’ve always wanted! Want to try raw goats milk? Ok so you’re sorta paying to do the Saturday morning rounds at this farm but it’s such a worthwhile experience! And Jeff and Lysa are excellent hosts who have been running the farm since 2013. A fun experience with kids but all the adults also had a great time❣️⠀When we arrived baby goats ran up to us like excited puppies. Bottle feeding them was my favorite part. We fed goats, cows, pigs, chickens and a giant bull 🐂! And attempted to milk a goat, not as easy as it can look. You can sign up for this as an Airbnb experience or just directly on their site which is a bit cheaper. Super fun to end the tour with milk and cookies. They have you guess which is the cows milk and which is the goats milk. First time for our kiddo to be away from her home/family for this long. Who was more nervous? Me! She walked into @radcamps and basically went “byee” and didn’t look back. And had so much fun we did it more than once! Parent bonus is the free @thumpcoffee set up at drop off ❣️⠀Rad camps run on a daily sign up with different age groups (3-15) and various adventures. You can choose a base camp experience with classroom and playground, but I highly recommend adding a morning or afternoon trip to a park. Pictured in the video is Tumalo State Park.
