daisugi, full EP 🌱

this is a project of me revisiting unreleased beats i started between 2016-2019, with the only fully 2022 track being ‘alonely.’ i don’t wanna say too much here, but what i feel is important is to give thanks to the trees, climb one if the tree will allow you, think about life from a plant’s perspective, and find a little bit more joy in nature 🙃

it was an honor and a pleasure to assist in curating and contributing to the Zelda & Lofi compilation record with the legends over at @gamechops 💚

@robarousal tapped me for this about a year ago with an idea to flip existing tracks from @thedekutrio into lofi remixes: one track flipping the sample into a new composition and another track keeping the melody form the original in tact as a proper cover. the resulting project features 18 beats from 8 incredibly talented artists. be sure to check out the full record if you love Zelda & beats!

Outset Island Lofi, produced by Enluv, pairs upright bass, expressive piano, and a relaxed trip hop beat with The Deku Trio’s arrangement to give new life to a classic Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker composition.

i have dreamt of visiting brazil for a long time now, and i owe a debt of eternal gratitude to @sleeptales & @coloursinthedark_ for inviting me to make beats and find inspiration in his home city of Rio & Itaipava. regardless of how beautiful these places were, the people are truly what made this trip special ❤️ thank you all! i can’t wait for the world to hear what we cooked up 👨‍🍳🍝

first pic by @bellabandbeats thank you Bella i rarely like my photos

also massive shoutout @biapolicicchio for coordinating the beat camp and to Edna (slide 15) & Rosângela for whipping up the nicest home cooked meals to keep us going

all photos are from the Nikon Coolpix S10! infinite more pics to share from this trip, so i will do a second post about the places and spaces as opposed to these lovely faces :) by @enluv__

Easy steps, open air. Wildflower Walk from @enluv__ and @cmjmusic drifts with boom bap rhythm and sunlit guitars #—light, breezy, and quietly uplifting. It feels like wandering without a plan, letting the moment lead the way. by @enluv__
