Seven years ago, I stepped into a kitchen with nothing but a passion for food and a hunger to create. Today, I’m still that same Chef but a little wiser, a little bolder, and a lot more intentional.

I’m Abiola Eniola (Chef B’enny) and over the past 7 years, I’ve learned that being a chef isn’t just about cooking. It’s about building experiences, leading teams, and turning every plate into a story. From fine dining to corporate breakfasts, brunches, ala carte, and dinners, my journey has been about precision, creativity, and purpose.

Every dish I craft, every team I train, and every menu I build carries a piece of who I am and the belief that food is never just food; it’s connection, expression, and legacy.

Here’s to growth, to flavor, and to making every kitchen moment count.

Year 30 was a year of becoming. Not necessarily the loud, visible kind of growth, but the quiet kind that happens in the middle of uncertainty, disappointments, unanswered questions and starting over.

I grew in strength, in patience, in self-awareness and in my understanding of grace. I experienced life in ways that stretched me, challenged my faith and introduced me to versions of myself I didn’t know existed. I learnt that growth isn’t always about how much you accomplish; sometimes, it’s about how much you survive without losing yourself.

Most importantly, I am learning to trust God beyond what I can see, to surrender what I cannot control and to understand that His timing is not a punishment. There is a different kind of peace that comes from knowing that I don’t have to have my entire life figured out because the One who holds my future already knows the way.

I am not arriving at 30 as the woman who has figured it all out. I am arriving as a woman who is still learning, still healing, still discovering herself, still dreaming and, above all, still trusting God.

I look back with gratitude, not because everything went according to plan, but because God was present even in the moments I thought I was falling behind.

And as I step into this new decade, my prayer is that I become everything God has called me to be. That I build a life rooted in purpose, guided by wisdom, sustained by grace and filled with the kind of love that reflects Him.

Happy 30th birthday to me.

May the woman I am becoming never be disconnected from the God who is writing my story.

Eyes have not seen, ears have not heard, neither has it entered the heart of man what God has prepared for those who love Him.

Here’s to becoming, B’enny. Here’s to 30. ❤️ by @ennydurance

Happy Beautiful Birthday B'enny! ❤️ by @ennydurance

Today’s menu is not asking for your opinion… it’s demanding your attention, because surviving on vibes alone is no longer an option.

What’s on your plate today? 👀✨

Learning to appreciate the ordinary days, because one day they’ll become the moments I look back on the most. ✨🤍

A year ago, Thrills was just an idea brought to life by a group of people willing to show up every day and give their best.

Two days ago , we celebrated our first anniversary, I found myself looking around and realizing that the real story isn’t just about the food, the sales, or the milestones. It’s about the people.

The early mornings. The long shifts. The laughter in between the chaos. The mistakes we learned from. The wins we celebrated together. The moments nobody sees that somehow become the foundation of everything.

This vlog is a little glimpse into one of those days, a day spent celebrating one year of growth, resilience, teamwork, and the people who make it all possible.

Grateful for every staff member, every customer, and every lesson this journey has brought.

Here’s to one year of @thrillsbysunrise and to many more memories ahead. 🥂✨

Being Head Chef in a new restaurant means rebuilding yourself while rebuilding a kitchen.

You have to earn respect without forcing it.
Create standards without killing morale.
Correct mistakes without crushing confidence.

You walk into a kitchen that already has habits, personalities, strengths, weaknesses, and unspoken ways of doing things… and somehow, you’re expected to bring structure, consistency, results… and make it all work.

It’s pressure.
It’s patience.
It’s leadership nobody fully understands until they wear the coat.

But watching my cooks and kitchen assistants imitate me today… I couldn’t even be annoyed 😂
They started mimicking me… my sayings, my reactions, my standards, my ‘chef moments’ 😂… I realize maybe I'm leaving an imprint.

Because behind the jokes, I see growth. Comfort. Team spirit.
To my team… thanks for the laughs, the stress, the chaos, the improvement, and yes… the unsolicited impressions of me 😂❤️.

I see the effort. Keep growing

This is what it means, we’re becoming a real kitchen. by @ennydurance

New chapter. New kitchen. Same passion.

This reel also captures a private dinner I worked on Monday, because the journey doesn’t pause, it evolves.

Grateful for the grace, the love, and every new landmark along the way.

Visited @nikeartgalleryabeokuta and I was honestly blown away… every corner told a story. From bold colors to deep cultural pieces, it felt like stepping into history, identity, and creativity all at once.

Abeokuta has been showing me a different kind of beauty that is calm, rich, and deeply rooted.

Definitely one for the books 🤍
