🇬🇧 A new video, a teaser for our program “A London Potpourri,” is officially out on our YouTube channel! 🎉 100% Handel, it combines a movement from the Trio Sonata in C minor HWV 386a (though it almost feels like an opera) with an arrangement of the aria “Credete al mio dolore” from Alcina. Trop heureuses de pouvoir enfin vous dévoiler le premier extrait de la suite de Robert de Visée que nous avons eu tant de plaisir à arranger ❤️‍🔥

Originellement écrite pour le théorbe et le luth en tablatures, cette suite a été rééditée par De Visée lui-même pour basse et dessus.
S’inspirant de cette démarche, nous avons ajouté une voix intermédiaire et reconstitué une suite taillée sur mesure pour notre formation.

🇬🇧 We are delighted to finally unveil the first extract from Robert De Visée’s suite that we had so much fun arranging ! ⚜️

Originally written for theorbo and lute in tablature, De Visée himself re-edited this suite for bass and treble.

Taking inspiration from this approach, we added an intermediate voice and reconstructed a suite for our ensemble.

Gelungenes Crossover! 👍 So #barock kann ein Chanson klingen, wenn das @ensemble.la.mandorle "Göttingen" von Barbara anstimmt.
Diese #Zugabe ist natürlich als Hommage an die Stadt gedacht: Die jungen Musikerinnen haben dieses Jahr den #Wettbewerb "Göttingen Händel Competition" gewonnen und durften das Preisträgerkonzert beim @haendelfest gestalten. 🏆

Organisé par Alice Orange, directrice artistique du @festival.de.vivoin , ces deux jours de formation sont à destination des jeunes cheffes et (co)directrices musicales. Camille représentera la Mandorle pendant ce séminaire qui promet d’être passionnant ! 💫 Merci à la @federationfevis pour l’accueil !

Next week, Camille will participate in « Les Barockeuses, » a program designed for young female conductors and musical (co-)directors, and will represent La Mandorle at this seminar, which promises to be fascinating! 🌠

🇬🇧 Just back from York, where we were finalists in the Early Music International Young Artists Competition! It was a wonderful experience, we met exceptional musicians from all over the world.

Congratulations to all the ensembles, and a huge thank to the @nationalcentreforearlymusic for organizing the competition and for the warm welcome, especially to @ameliaberridge 🙏🏼❤️‍🔥

We look forward to sharing excerpts from our performance - played entirely from memory - which will be broadcast on BBC Radio 3.

Die Damen vom Ensemble La Mandorle haben gestern Abend in der ausverkauften Reformierten Kirche alle verzaubert! Nach dem feurigen Fandango gab es als Zugabe noch ein Chanson von Édith Piaf, eine Komponistin, die bei unseren Festspielen sonst nicht so häufig vertreten ist...
