BIPOC Music, Arts & Wellness Collective based out of ATX ✨
POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
Notice our new look?? 👁️🪷✨ We’ve got a new name, but our vibes are the same if not better than ever and we are soo thrilled to be coming back with a bang!! 🌋 Here’s a little more about our re-brand: Firstly, there were some changes in the structure of the collective that led to revisiting our mission and purpose. During this hiatus, I (Día/ founder) kept on reflecting on what the true meaning of curating events in a big city like Austin is and what truly sets us apart. In my contemplation the image of the chakana kept on coming up for me. I have been studying the meaning of the Chakana for some time. Being from Ecuador, I have always been fascinated with learning more about my indigenous roots and how connecting over our culture could lead to healing. This is the reason why I chose the symbol of the chakana to represent us as a collective. Ethos: We gather because we recognize that inherently there is value in our unity and sharing our love for the arts and our collective wellness. As a full time DJ, Artist and curator it is so important for me to create spaces where we can connect, dance, & celebrate life but also make space for our healing journeys. Especially in these challenging times it is so important to gather and hear all of our stories, while focusing on uplifting BIPOC artistry and perspectives that have been silenced and unsupported for generations. We are starting up again, and this requires collective effort. So while our main purpose is to uplift BIPOC artists and wellness practitioners I want to reiterate that this space is for everyone, and our white allies are so welcome and needed in this space. I cannot wait to share more about what we’ve got coming up and if you are interested in joining us and supporting us in any capacity please let us know. We’d love to get you plugged in. 🙏🏼 Con mucho amor!! 💗 (Dia/ founder and creatrix of Enter.Chakana) #wellness #collective #art #music #organic #bipoc #tribal #indigenous #healing #atx #love #community taken in Austin, Texas by @enter.chakana

I was invited to an event the other week @westchinatea put on by a bunch of friends, new and old. Yoga, dancing, painting, and mediating all in one little tea house. Honestly, this kind of thing is the future of social gatherings cus who wants to go to a bar anymore? 🙃 They throw a bunch of these events in Austin, so follow them @_pachaorganica And of course, I had to also make this post about me 😆 so I threw a bunch of random footage I shot from the night into sadoshi.ai to generate some vibrant animations. Prompt: meditative gathering of beautiful people in a yoga studio, sacred geometry, energetic, vibrations #ecstaticdance #yoga #soundhealing #aiart #stablediffusion #sadoshi #teahouse #austintexas #iykyk by @enter.chakana
