Day 5:

- Visit the market in Aix-en-Provence
- End with lunch in Marseille

SAVE this because you won’t find these hidden gems in Japan again 🇯🇵✨

Skipping the bullet train and renting a car in Kyushu with enterprise was honestly one of the best decisions we made. It gave Mike and me the freedom to explore Japan beyond the usual route, stop at random viewpoints and visit places that would have been much harder to reach by public transport.

Our Kyushu road trip included:

🥷 Ninja gondola in Yanagawa
⛩️ Yutoku Inari Shrine
🔥 Hells of Beppu
♨️ Teacup onsen
💦 Takachiho Gorge
🗿 Nanzoin Temple
🏔️ Yamanami Scenic Route
🍓 The colourful fruit bus stops
🏺 Ceramic torii gate at Tozan Shrine

ad I recently had a lovely day out in the sunshine with my great pal @louisepentland . She is what I like to call a very good treasure hunter when it comes to vintage bits and antiques so she was just the person I needed while we are still trying to get bits of furniture for our new (but old) house. To make the most of this mission I hired a van from @enterprise for the day. We have used Enterprise over the years for one day car hire when Jon had a meeting for example, weekend breaks, and holidays abroad, but never for van hire. In fact this was my first time driving a van and I was really impressed with my van driving skills. 😂 Whatever you need a vehicle for, Enterprise can help with its vast range of vehicles, plus its extensive network of locations. We have got to know the staff in our local branch and they are so friendly and helpful too.
We headed to Olney where we had a great time looking at all the antique shops, whilst I still don’t hugely know what our style is going to be, I love getting inspiration from all the different things they had available. We wandered in and out the shops for a few hours, before grabbing some fish and chip shop chips and sat on a bench. The best kind of end to a day in my opinion.
I didn’t get loads, in fact I was more leaning towards crockery and tableware when I was meant to be buying furniture, but I did buy a couple of large items so the van very much came in handy (it also came in handy when Jon did a few tip runs the following day).
We had such a nice day together and will definitely do it again soon. @enterpriseuk #enterprisepartner by @enterpriseuk

Did you know that this secret beach in Paros is also a natural spa? 🌊⛱️

🚘You can only get here by car so rent one from @enterpriseuk and park close to the beach.

It may look like any other beach at first but when you walk to the end, you will find a small hole which, once filled with sea water, turns into mud. The particles in the mud have an exfoliating effect and are very good for the skin.

I covered myself in it and rinsed with sea water, and my skin was soo smooth afterwards!

📌 This beach is called Kalogeros beach, save it to your Paros itinerary.

ad My Number One tip for first time visitors to Orlando is…. Hire a car 🚙. We recently went on an amazing family holiday to Orlando where we spent nine days experiencing all that Orlando has to offer, including the theme parks but also all the other fun too. We have been lucky enough to visit a few times now and I think one of my top tips would genuinely be to hire a car. The last couple of times we have visited we have hired a car through @enterprise and it has honestly been a game changer. After a long flight you can just pick it up straight from the airport, chuck your bags in and you are ready to go. Don’t get me wrong the theme parks have great transport systems, but to really experience Orlando I feel like a car is so useful. You can go at your own pace, explore the lesser known parts of Orlando, head to the shopping malls, go through all the tasty food drive thru’s and head to the beautiful outer areas of places like Winter Garden, Celebration and Winter Park. Cruising along, with the kids laughing and joking (and sometimes arguing let’s be honest), and listening to country music always brings back such happy holiday memories.

ad This has to be the most underrated island in Europe?🌊☀️

Here are some places you cannot miss when visiting Menorca:

🚘Firstly, you will need to rent a car to get around so get one from Enterprise

🏖️ For postcard perfect beaches, go to Cala Macarella and Cala Macarelleta

🌅 Go to Cova d’en Xoroi for sunset: it’s one of the coolest bars I have ever seen!

🍻 Beach bars: Som Sis and Bucaneros were 2 of my favourites

🏘️ Towns: don’t miss Ciutadella for a bigger town vibe and Binibeca Vell for small aesthetic vibes
