Since the first lockdown i’ve been playing around with an #MPCTouch and having mad fun with it. Makin’ beats been on my todo list for years, but i never found time to get things started. Throwback to the summer of 2016 when Bruxelles was corona-free and everybody was enjoying the summer vibes to the fullest. This video clip for our release “Humming Bird” was shot in only one day. Just a team of awesome people trying to get into cool locations on-the-fly, appealing to the good will of venue owners, vibing off on random encounters and that good old anything is possible mentality. DIY to the fullest, no budget and all based on a team that was in it for the love of it.
It might not have been our release with the most views, but I love the way how this one came together and how it captured the beauty of our capital: Bruxelles ma bell! I really hope we can get this team together again some day… it’s been way to long since we got to hang out. Stay safe y’all and hope to see y’all soon.
