* Classificação: Vino de Mesa / sem D.O.
* Uvas: Alicante Bouschet (Garnacha Tintorera), Moravia Agria e uma pequena parcela de Garnacha Tinta. A Alicante Bouschet é a principal variedade do vinho.
* Altitude: aproximadamente 800 m
* Solos: predominantemente argilo-calcários, com presença de ardósia em algumas parcelas.
* Viticultura: orgânica, com colheita manual
* Vinificação: fermentação com leveduras indígenas, em depósitos abertos de concreto, utilizando aproximadamente 40–50% de cachos inteiros.
* Maturação: cerca de 7–8 meses, principalmente em concreto; a safra 2024 também teve componentes maturados em barricas e foudres.

Visual rubi-púrpura intenso, com bastante concentração de cor, característica da Alicante Bouschet, mas sem aparência excessivamente pesada.

Olfato muito expressivo e fresco, com cereja, frutas vermelhas e negras, groselha e ameixa, acompanhadas de notas florais, herbal, pimenta e uma discreta nuance terrosa. Com oxigenação, aparecem também nuances de mentol e lavanda.

Paladar seco, suculento e muito equilibrado. A acidez é média e dá bastante energia à fruta. Os taninos são presentes, finos e levemente arenosos, trazendo estrutura sem deixar o vinho pesado. No final aparecem frutas vermelhas, ervas, especiarias e uma discreta mineralidade, com ótima persistência. by @envinatewine

No recuerdo probar vinos de Canarias, en esta ocasión le tocó a este. 👌👌👌 + cerrado al inicio que fué abriéndose y mejoró mucho al airear. Frutos rojos intensos, cereza, alcohólico, tonos ahumados, buena acidez, ligero, fresco, mineral con toque de pimienta y algo de amargor, persistencia media, taninos suaves, especiado y salino. 💪🏽 seguiré probando. I absolutely love “salty” wines. A subtle tingling sensation, a dry, chalky texture, a rush of salivation and a distinct sense of sea freshness. Wine contains almost no salt in the literal sense, yet some bottles create an astonishingly convincing illusion of it.

Take Assyrtiko from Santorini. It delivers an almost electric combination of lemon and sea salt. On this volcanic island, vines rely largely on moisture from sea mist, which forms as cool marine air meets the warm slopes of the dormant volcano. Rich in sodium chloride, these salty mists settle over the vineyards. Combined with Assyrtiko’s naturally high acidity, they create that unmistakable saline impression. One sip of @gaiawines Thalassitis 2023, and you’ll know exactly what I mean.

Next stop: Tenerife. Surrounded by the Atlantic, with vineyards planted 500-1,000 meters above sea level on volcanic slopes, the island offers poor soils, morning fog and old vines—the perfect conditions for Listán Blanco with striking salinity. A benchmark is @envinatewine Palo Blanco 2023, layered with smoked salt, iodine and butter.

But you don’t have to be anywhere near the sea to find wines with a saline character. Loire Chenin Blanc is a perfect example. In @catherineetpierrebreton Les Pierres Rousses 2022, you’ll find notes of salt, iodine, chalk and rich cream wrapped in a juicy, textured palate. The effect is likely the result of poor clay-flint soils combined with extended lees ageing in barrel. by @envinatewine
