Hello there!

I’m Matt, lead photographer and owner of Envision Images, based in Toronto. Capturing weddings across Canada and beyond.

My work is rooted in documentary storytelling with a subtle editorial influence, through both photo and film. Created for couples who value honesty, presence, and genuine emotion.

I care deeply about creating work that holds meaning years from now. Photographs and films that don’t just show what your wedding looked like, but bring you back to how it felt. The laughter, the nerves, the quiet moments, and everything in between.

My approach is documentary at its core. I work quietly and with intention, allowing moments to unfold naturally while staying present to the subtle details that often pass unnoticed. I believe the most meaningful images come from trust, connection, and the freedom to simply be yourselves.

Outside of weddings, I value simplicity. Time with family, music, meaningful conversations, good coffee, and being outdoors whenever possible. Those same values shape the way I work: calm, grounded, and intentional.

Well we finally did it… and I still cant believe it.

It has been a personal goal of mine for years since starting my business hoping my work would be chosen in the Best of Collection for Junebug Weddings and we DID IT! This image won the Junebug Weddings 2026 Best of the Best Engagement Photo Contest

To be recognized alongside the best of the best in this industry and those who I have admired and have looked up to creatively for years is an incredible honour.

Thank you to @victorlax @justthedaisies @throughtheglassparis and the team at @junebugweddings for hosting these contests and curating this incredible collection.

So as my own weddings to shoot this year kick off this weekend, why not post my final hoorah of last year.

B+K are friends of @jesi_bee and myself and I dont know why but when shooting friends does anyone else get a sense of nervousness? As a seasoned shooter i was so nervous to shoot these two but in the end these are some of my favourite images ive ever taken. There are so many images of the day to choose from these are just a few!

Also the natural light at @__fieldwork__ studios is incredible.

Some wedding days stay with you because of the moments, other stay because of the places and people present.

Not every part of a wedding day needs to feel rushed. Remember it’s your day, just take a minute, breathe and enjoy it with those around you.

Some of my favourite images come from the slower parts of the day. Doors open, music playing in the background, and a room full of anticipation before everything begins.

Surrounded by good people, open skies and a dance floor waiting in the distance.

Although I shoot for myself i also second shoot for others when I can! As a second shooter it gives the opportunity to play with angles and perspectives the lead shooter might not get a chance to see.
