He caught me in my vibe as Chicago #rooftop season comes to an end. It was great networking with the black excellence that is #BECO on a Friday night. Ps: the hat was the star of the show thanks to #optimo hats 🎩. Fit compliments of #maje, bag by #dior, (can’t get enough of it) and heels by #gucci 🙌🏾🔥❤️ taken in VU Rooftop by @envyred_

Decided to step out there & stomp w/the big dawgs. Submitted my latest script “Rx9” to Cannes and The Big Apple Film Festival. Nothing to it but to do it. I actually placed in BAFF on a horror TV pilot collaboration a few years ago, “Night Nurse” so I’m excited to see what happens. Results in the late Spring for most submissions. Revel was good and had some solid film festival placements but I really believe in this one. I missed the American Black Film Festival but it’s ⏰…🤷🏾‍♀️❤️

Let’s go 👉🏾

Sometimes you gotta put the 🖊️ down and just roll with it! It’s been a long week but I’m back in the ATL and with that, of course it was my skate night! 🛼

Believe in yourself! You can make it happen…UCLA is teaching me something critical and that is structure. Plus, there are no limits to your evolution. Do it! ♥️

Never forget those we lost, support those who live, and fight for a future where HIV/AIDS no longer exists! Be the change you seek. Turning words into action, one intentional step at a time. Pausing only for the dance breaks! ❤️ #chicago #aidsfoundationchicago #advocate #bethechange taken in Soldier Field by @envyred_

Stop chasing perfection because it does not exist. “Get it good enough to go” was some of the best advice I’ve received in life. If you know me, then you know it’s a hard one based on how I’m built but I’m up for the challenge. 📸 @shaun_michael_photos #justdoit #writer #chicago #writersofinstagram #creativity takeoff 🚀❤️💻✍🏾 taken in Chicago, Illinois by @envyred_

I was reminded that life goes on whether you decide to stop running from your destiny or not. Why not take a chance on you? There is no time like the present to show yourself some ❤️ #pursueyourdreams #selflove #selfcare #writer 📸 @shaun_michael_photos by @envyred_
