🇬🇧 Tower Bridge ｜ JoséJosé has established itself as a classic Spanish favorite in London, known for its consistent quality and flavors. 🍷This time, I tried a few dishes from their Daily Specials:🥇 【Black Rice】 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟The squid was incredibly tender, and they didn’t skimp on the aioli. It beautifully layers the flavors, saving the squid ink rice from being one-dimensional. Big thumbs up! 👍🥈 【Sirloin Steak】 🌟🌟🌟🌟It featured a distinct fat cap and a gorgeous sear. However, the accompanying chimichurri was a bit oily, making it slightly heavy whether poured over or used as a dip. That said, the beef itself was excellent. 🥩🥉 【Jamón】 🌟🌟🌟🌟The color layers of this ham—ranging from deep crimson to rich fat—were visually striking. I was torn between this and the tortilla at first, but the staff recommended the ham. It’s not just purely "salty"; it starts with a savory umami from the curing process, followed by subtle hints of nutty notes, rich meatiness, and a touch of fermentation. 🥓Overall Verdict:As a cozy tapas bar to catch up with friends, José definitely hits the spot. The flavors skew towards a vibrant, street-style vibe. Next time, I’ll do a proper comparison between José, Sabor, and Lobos! 👀

Family and friends, we finally tried all of Sabor's signature dishes! Absolutely no disappointment! My personal recommendations (and not a single dish was bad): 🥇Roasted suckling pig: The skin was crispy like potato chips, and the meat inside was tender and juicy, with absolutely no porky smell! 🥈Red prawns: The prawn meat was sweet and bouncy; mixing the broth from the prawn heads into the main course was simply divine. 🥉Pan-fried foie gras and scallops: Perfectly cooked! The scallops were slightly charred on both sides, yet incredibly tender inside; the foie gras, paired with a special sauce, was rich and flavorful without being greasy. Sitting on the second floor of El Asador, admiring the huge oven while enjoying a chilled sangria was heaven! 🍷

I stumbled into a real-life Shaun the Sheep world. 🐑 Strolling through the green hills and valleys of the Peak District, feeling the British breeze. Looking up, there were Miyazaki-esque blue skies and white clouds; looking down, there were countless sheep grazing on the hillsides. It turns out that summer and autumn in England are completely hidden in this endless expanse of green. 💚 But I must remind you of a few very important safety precautions, because my friend and I almost got caught in one this time 👇

⚠️ Nettles ⚠️ P17 While hiking, I accidentally touched a nettle, a very common "weed" in England. It looks inconspicuous but is incredibly dangerous!

💥 Immediate stinging, burning sensation + intense itching

💥 Some people may experience severe allergic reactions or even respiratory problems

💡 I recommend wearing long pants and long sleeves, and avoiding touching roadside plants!

⚠️ Foxglove ⚠️ See photo P18; it's a very beautiful plant with purple tubular flowers, commonly found in the wild. Its scientific name is *Digitalis purpurea*, and its English name is Foxglove. It's also known as "Dead Man's Bells," which tells you how dangerous it is! ⚠️

❗ The entire plant is highly poisonous, especially the flowers and leaves.

❗ Ingestion can cause cardiac arrest.

❗ It has been used medically to extract a "cardiac stimulant," but it's absolutely forbidden to handle it yourself!

My friend saw it and picked some, putting it in his bag, only to be urgently warned by a local: "That's poisonous!" 😨 He was terrified...

✅ UK Hiking Tips:

• Long pants + long sleeves to protect against scratches and poisonous plants.

• Wear windproof and rainproof clothing; it can rain at any time in the mountains.

• Don't pick random flowers or plants; don't touch anything you don't understand!

• Poor signal in mountainous areas; download a map beforehand.

• There's sheep poop on the roadside 💩, watch your step, haha!

British nature is wild and beautiful, but it also hides some "little traps." When traveling, safety is paramount, even more so than taking beautiful photos!
