Thank You Taiwan.

Thank you Thank you Thank you. This opportunity and trip fell into my lap at the upmost perfect time in my life. Taiwan has not only reignited my love for knowledge and travel, but most importantly has reminded me of the power of perseverance.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned this year, our lives, health, and friendships are the most precious thing we have. Don’t let them slip away.

I urge you, whether it’s visiting the next town over, around the US, or internationally… Travel. See the world. Experience different cultures.

And finally, a special thank you APEC for inviting me to the Forum on Women and Youth Empowerment and giving me the opportunity to go to Taiwan. I give my greatest thanks to Dr. Fruhstuck for nominating me to be a US delegate and represent the United States at this event. Without you I wouldn’t have known about this incredible opportunity.

P.S. Taiwan is so awesome❤️‍🔥 taken in Taipei, Taiwan by @enyalinson

with her mom & the rocks
2859 miles, 4 new highpoints, tanking!?!?!? and a bucketful of new memories. First time hiking a few miles up on straight ice.
Recap down below for those who want to know the photo details:

1. TANKING!!!!!!!! In rural Nebraska, we flowed down the Middle Loup River in a giant metal trough. It was so awesome. The landscape was amazing and we were the only ones out there.
2. BISON. In Custer State Park in South Dakota, we drove down the wildlife loop and saw so many bison, pronghorns, mountain goats, prairie dogs and burros!! The bison were just walking around the road and it was amazing.
3. Highpoint of North Dakota🥰 very awesome to climb. We met the creator of the trail who came to check up on it. Super cool backstory.
4. Toadstool National Park in Nebraska. This was so so cool. It felt like I wasn’t on planet earth anymore. We were the only ones out here and the hike takes you through the loop.
5. Highest point of Nebraska!! 30 MPH winds and lots of bison at the beginning of the road. All alone and driving down so many dirt roads. Also only a few miles from Colorado and Wyoming. This was very serene and the rolling hills of Nebraska are so so underrated.
6. Custer State Park pretty view from the car🥰
7. MOUNT RUSHMORE‼️‼️‼️ I love the flags and the walk up. The bucket list definitely gained another check. This could be a very quick place to see if you wanted it to be.
8. TANKING AGAIN. 11/10. Love love love, nothing else like it. Also you hit a lot of walls and dead trees.. but it was amazing.
9. BADLANDS NATIONAL PARK. The viewpoints were insane. I loved this.
10. South Dakota high point Black Elk Peak 6.8 mile hike seen in the VERY BACK the tower we hiked to.
11. Candid of me hiking!! Thank you mom🫶🏼🫶🏼
12. The tower!! So close!! Felt like hiking up large stairs.
13. POV of the tank!!!
14. A little Preview of the trail you could hit at Toadstool! The rock formations are SO cool.
15. And last but certainly not least🙂 the map🥰🥰 by @enyalinson
