Sensei. What is there to say about sensei that hasn’t already been said or isn’t already known. I joined sensei when I was young, probably around 5. I took my intro class and fell in love with the school. I’ve been with him ever since.From teaching me, as a shy scared little kid, to watching me come out of my shell. To taking me to karate tournaments all across the country. To getting my junior black belt. To teaching as one of his instructors. To getting my adult black belt. To helping me get ready to move to California. Sensei has truly seen it all. He watched me grow up.From being the scariest instructor to a mentor to a father figure and finally a friend. Sensei really covered all the bases.It still hasn’t fully hit me yet that he’s gone, but I know that he’s up there in heaven with our brother Ryan and smiling probably with a cup of Dunkin’ Donuts in his hand.I will remember everything you’ve done for us. Everything you taught us and carry it with me for the rest of my life. I love you Sensei. I’ll see you on the other side. by @enzo.bilog

It is with this moment that I can now say that I am officially retiring from the competitive karate scene. It has been an amazing ride meeting lifelong friends and family along the way. Thank you to everyone who supported me and guided me along the way. My love for competition and inspiration to learn new things will not die with moving on the the next phase of my life. These past few months and maybe even years have been some of roughest of my life but they have helped me to make this decision to continue on a path that leads me to Los Angeles. I will never forget all the wins, losses, and hardships it took to get to where I am now. Goodbye NASKA. I’m gonna miss all the memories that I left on the mat and at the dojo but I will always carry them with me in my heart. With the utmost gratitude, thank you everyone. And a big thank you to Sensei. He helped me and annoyed me to get all my shit together to go out. Everything he has beaten into me over the past 17 years has helped me become who I am today and helped me to make the decision to pursue a career in stunts. I love you sensei. by @enzo.bilog
