Hi, I’m Esther !👋🏽

EO Visualz stands for Esther Ofori’s Visuals 🤌🏽
Three years ago, I started EO Visualz, but my passion for video editing goes back more than 12 years. What began as a creative hobby grew into a business where I create video content for industries ranging from food and beauty to industrial sectors. 📹💡

I hold a bachelor’s degree in Food Technology. A field focused on product development, quality, and engineering. Faaarrr from video content. Yet, my love for food shines through in my work and on my social media pages.
With 5+ years of social media experience, I know how to create content that is both visually compelling and effective. For the past two years, I’ve also trained companies like Apple and the Police in video content creation and smartphone videography.

I get to hear how much impact my videos make and it drives me to keep on teaching people what their smartphones can actually do!

Most people overestimate the importance of gear and underestimate the importance of skill.

Understanding light, composition, camera movement, and storytelling will take you further than the most expensive camera ever will.

I like filming like a pro without needing a whole crew! 👀

The @hohem_global iSteady M7 has seriously been that girl during my shoots. 💅🏽

It tracks me while I move, I can control it with a remote and it’s perfect for filming those upside-down b-roll shots I love.
No screen mirroring, no adjusting mid-take, just set it up and walk away.

I use it all the time for BTS content, especially when I’m filming alone!

Switching up your camera angles can make your content feel more dynamic instantly, even if you’re filming solo! 💅🏽

Here are 3 go-to angles to try:

💕Overall shot: Set the scene and show your full setup or outfit
💕Mirror shot: Adds personality and gives viewers a relatable, behind-the-scenes feel
💕Close-up: Focus on the details that matter (like accessories, texture, or movement)

You can create beautiful, clean shots anywhere. It’s all about how you use what you have. 👀

Here’s how to make it work:

📱Use natural daylight or a good studio light to keep your product looking sharp and true to color.
📱A lens (like a tele or macro) helps you get crisp detail without zooming.
📱Choose a background that doesn’t compete with the product color or texture.

I’m not gonna lie, filming content isn’t always cute behind the scenes. 🫠 I forget my lines, I mess up shots, I lose focus, I get frustrated and sometimes I just feel stuck. Even after years of filming, it’s still not always smooth and that’s okay.

I don’t want to show up like I’ve got it all figured out all the time, because I DON’T. I’m learning, adjusting, restarting… just like you. Perfection isn’t the goal, cause like I mentioned in the video its a killer of creativity and I live by that!

If you’re watching this and feeling like you’re not doing enough or not doing it “right”… Let this be your reminder: progress over perfection. You don’t have to get it all right, you just have to keep showing up. You’re allowed to be figuring it out. I am too. Keep going, your effort is already enough. You never know who’s (silently) watching and feeling inspired. 😉❤️ by @eo_visualz
