Inosho Ramen

I was excited to try out this place, but sadly it was very mid. The carbonara tsukemen which I see all the time on my timeline did not deliver. The broth lacked flavor but the noodles were good! I would skip the corn appetizer, tasted too much like oil but the karaage was great!

Their desserts really made up for the mid mains. You should definitely get the hokkaido corn ice cream and basque burnt cheesecake! The serve the cheesecake with a shot of amaretto and matcha cream. So good! I’d come back just for this. taken in Inosho Ramen by @eonsplate

Hikiniku to come

I enjoyed this very much! Three burger patties, three ways? not the most exciting concept but unassuming, simple and very Japanese. I really enjoyed the salted lemon with green chili and the japanese pepper sauce, but the show stealer was the ponzu and raddish! I’d definitely go back for this 🫶 by @eonsplate

The ambiance, parking, and whole experience was great. Food was good but the price point for the serving sizes was a little over. But come to think of it, for the freshness of the chirashi, it might be worth it naman! Something I’d come back to but probably not often. taken in San Juan by @eonsplate

Los Tacos 🌮

This is definitely a must try! Everything was great but honestly the appetizers and tacos outshined the mains. I’d skip the steak but still order the duck. taken in Los Tacos MNL by @eonsplate

I’d been seeing Underbelly on my feed for a while now and I finally got the chance to visit! I ordered the tantanmen and crispy eggplant and these dishes did not disappoint. The tantanmen was perfect with the egg I added and these dishes did eggplant was so full of flavor! I definitely recommend you order it with any ramen you choose! taken in The Underbelly by @eonsplate

Easy Buddy

Stumbled across this new restaurant in Makati that only serves pad krapao. I ordered their bestseller, Buddy’s Favorite, and it was alright. Honestly quite overpriced for the portions but all together had potential for a sumptuous meal! Loved the egg and grilled corn but I think trying this once is enough 😅 taken in Ayala Triangle Tower Two by @eonsplate

Chicken Inasal is my favorite filo food and this place delivered not only great noms but great prices too! So much so that my brother and I ordered two meals each lmao. Definitely a must try if you’re around mandaluyong. taken in Mezmars & Mau's Chicken Inasal Haus by @eonsplate

Bad Bird

While I was out doing errands, I walked past the Bad Bird stall and noticed they had food other than chicken on their menu so I had to try it out!

Hamburgreat Curry Rice — 3/5
This was okay the patty on its own would have been hambur-OK but the fried onions and curry elevated the flavors. I was hoping for a juicier patty though and the only lasting flavor was the curry.

Mozzarella Kimchi Tots — 2.5/5
This too was okay, the kimchi flavor took over and it was too sour for me almost the perfect flavor for jigae hahaha. Loved the crunch tho! taken in The Grid Food Market by @eonsplate

Deli by Chele

I love their sandwiches but I wanted to try some other things on their menu and I must say, these dishes did not disappoint!

Burger - 3/5
I’d like to consider myself a burger connoisseur and this was a pretty good one! I was just hoping for more flavors but if you’re after the usual burger, this will do!

Bacon Mac & Cheese - 4/5
I was hesitant to order this and not really expecting but I needed a carb to complement the protein as I always remove the top bun of my burgers hahaha! Great flavors, the cheeses used were not too sharp but had enough character and the bacon added the right saltiness to it! Great side, in fact, it could’ve been a meal on its own 👨‍🍳 by @eonsplate

Pilya’s Kitchen 🍜

Ordered the lamb noodles and fried eggplant and I must say they were spot on. I’m a huge fan of spicy noodles and lamb but their noodles were perfectly imperfect! Thick hand pulled and cut noodles + the numbing spice 😩 The eggplant went well with it too! Great crunch from the breading and nuts 👨‍🍳 taken in The Grid Food Market by @eonsplate
