#Journaling time to answer five probing questions from the @aspirewithemmagrede podcast:
1. What goals have you had that you didn't achieve and why didn't you get there?
2. What are three things you wish you did more of last year?
3. What are you avoiding, and what frightens the life out of you?
4. What do you want to learn in the year to come?
5. What habits do you want to create and what boundaries should you establish?

Which one of these questions made you do the YIKES face?? Get to journaling! by @ephemeransuch

4 MUST-HAVE JOURNAL SPREADS FOR PEOPLE WHO REALLY WANT CHANGE

I love beautiful journal pages. The colors, the stickers, the doodles, the creative freedom of making a journal entirely your own.

But journals can do more than document our lives. They can help us change them.

These are four spreads I return to again and again to recognize patterns, track behaviors, make decisions, and take meaningful action.

They're not pages I fill out once and forget. They're living tools that evolve with me.

And now, I'd love to show you how to create and use them!

BEYOND THE PAGE: JOURNALING FOR REAL CHANGE

Join me and fellow journalers for an intimate, hands-on online workshop where we'll build the foundations of all four spreads together and explore how to turn reflection into action.

Sunday, November 15 | 2–4 p.m. EDT

Spots are limited! Register today by clicking the link in my bio.

Go be great and such!

🚧 Testing underway for my journal girlies who like to save a buck! 🚧

Sometimes the best finds are the unexpected ones! ✒️💜

Picked up this Yongsheng fountain pen on Temu for about $6, and what a pleasant surprise!

Love the textured black barrel, rose-gold details, and the weight of this pen. But the real treat? That smooth 0.5mm nib and beautiful ink flow. It just glides across the page!

I haven't figured out the exact model yet 🤷🏾‍♀️, but I'm definitely enjoying this little find. And for $6? Not bad at all!

Ink: @colorverse.ink / Type: As Big As the Moon
Pen: YongSheng / Model: ??
Journal: @papersource / A5 Dotted Journal Refill

A museum event about #journaling? Say less. I'm coming.

Tonight’s Jervis McEntee event at the National Gallery of Art was basically a mashup of two of my favorite things: museums and journaling.

McEntee kept a journal for 18 years—five volumes and more than 1,500 pages documenting his life, work, relationships, observations, and the world around him.

As someone who believes there’s something powerful about recording the ordinary details of a life, I loved this. What feels mundane today can become history tomorrow.

Also, 1,500+ pages? Finally, a historical figure who makes my journaling habit look completely reasonable. by @ephemeransuch

Friday journal wandering...🚶🏾‍♀️. Cut out of work early to wander around #georgetowndc . From @barnesandnoble to @papersource I spent the day doing my favorite thing, scoping out journals, accessories, and stationary.

Happy Weekend & such, people! 📕📒📝

We all need a moment to unwind and recalibrate. What's your way of turning off thinking and regulating your emotions?

This week I had a business trip for my client's Summit in New Haven, Connecticut. On the final day of my trip I went on a stationary excursion nearby in Branford and discovered @slacklinepress.

What a fantastic store! Beautiful original stationery, an impressive pen collection for a store of its size, and the best part was the staff. I left with three new pens, ink, and some stickers. But the real gem was this @nahvalur_official Original Winter Broad fountain pen. I added periwinkle ink to lock in the ice blue winter vibe. 😍
