Apparently, taking too many photos at this year’s Indian Market broke my 7-year-old iPhone. I’ve since upgraded, but a week later I’m still “normalizing” my data. 📱

Mystique Ro is a skeleton racer representing the United States at the 2026 Games in Milan-Cortina!

• Ro only debuted on the skeleton World Cup circuit in January 2023, but quickly became competitive at the elite level.
• She’s known for her rapid rise in the sport — from World Cup debut to world championship medalist in just a couple of seasons.

Ro hasn’t yet won an Olympic medal in Milan Cortina as of current results, but she is a World Cup race winner and two-time World Championship medalist (gold in mixed team, silver individually) and one of the top U.S. skeleton racers coming into the 2026 Games!

An unforgettable moment at SWAIA Winter Indian Market 2025 (Nov 30). Last weekend, I had the honor of meeting as many artists as I could in the final hour of the Winter Market—each artist I met felt like family. I could have spent days learning their stories. The event closed with a breathtaking dance by Than Povi Martinez—a true Culture Carrier who embodies her people with elegance, respect, and powerful love. Her performance filled the expansive floor of the Santa Fe Community Convention Center, and when she spun multiple times right in front of me, I felt the strength of Povi and countless generations of Ancestors smiling in unified embrace, saying, “We are still here!”
Love you, Povi! I will cherish your dance and our meeting as a priceless gift and a long-held dream come true.

When I think about Jontay Kahm’s beginnings, I’m deeply moved by how his journey started—with nothing more than the spark of inspiration he found in Lady Gaga’s Bad Romance video and the artistry of Alexander McQueen. Without waiting for the “right” tools or formal training, he began sketching and teaching himself to sew. To me, that is true courage: stepping forward undaunted, guided only by a dream. May Jontay Kahm’s courage inspire us all to pursue our own dreams, relentlessly and without hesitation.
