Service will take place at 84 Orange Street. New Haven CT from 3pm-5pm on Sunday November 17th, 2024. The celebration will include an exhibit, music, and tribute performances starting at 4pm.

👨‍🏫📚 Rita Hester was a Black transgender woman, sister, auntie, performer, and poet from Hartford, CT who loved to dance. She was murdered in Allston, MA on November 28, 1998. Her death sparked Transgender Day of Remembrance, a national observance day to recognize transgender lives taken by violence. The day was founded in 1999 by a small group, including Gwendolyn Ann Smith, Nancy Nangeroni, and Jahaira DeAlto.

On July 15, 2020 an NBC News article written by Kate Sosin titled “Her death sparked Transgender Day of Remembrance. 22 years later, still no answers.” was published. Prior to the article there had been no well known publications stating that Rita Hester grew up in Hartford, CT. Artist, researcher, and activist Ephraim Adamz respectfully connected with siblings Diana Hester, Kim Hester, and nephew Taufiqul Chowdhury to confirm that the information is true.

On November 7, 2023 Ephraim Adamz finalized the creation of the Transgender Legacy Flag in honor of Rita Hester. Black and brown is placed at the center of the flag to bring awareness to Black transgender issues. The triangular midpoint insinuates an hour glass which symbolizes past, present, future, and legacy.

The Transgender Legacy Flag was raised in the Pratt Street Historic District of Hartford, CT for the twenty-fifth anniversary of Transgender Day of Remembrance from November 20, 2023 to November 28, 2023, through the support of Jordon Polon and the Hartford Business Improvement District.

On November 27, 2023 the Hartford Courant published an article by Allison Cross titled “CT woman’s murder sparked international movement. Her family still doesn’t know who killed her.” The article interviews Rita Hester’s family with an in-depth take on her connection to Hartford, CT for the first time, and the inspiration behind the Transgender Legacy Flag.

Happy Middletown CT Pride 2026 🏳️‍⚧️🤎🖤 When parents see the Transgender Legacy Flag they should be able to trust me in knowing I’ve been on the right side of history.

There are morons in every community. Just because I’m queer doesn’t mean I should stay silent regarding other queers twisted behavior and be part of your cover ups. Every queer who approached me at Middletown Pride with oh so much to lose and angry at me should be ashamed. Moving forward if any other “advocates” for queer issues in CT cannot watch the videos and clarify their stance, then you can no longer associate yourself with me. Thank you all for the memories as these are lessons learned, but you can’t stay in my house.

While being recorded Reverend Aaron Miller describes a trafficking group he calls a “Circus Program” held in Connecticut every other week in MIDDLETOWN and New Haven without legal guardians knowledge. In the recordings, Aaron Miller refers the child to his accomplice Tony M. Ferraiolo, all while purposely keeping legal guardians in the dark.

Ilene Syed was an autistic child who spoke four languages, played five instruments, held two black belts in martial arts, and earned a full tuition scholarship to Rider University. Ilene was prescribed 40 milligrams of Testosterone per week and a referral for Double Mastectomy (Top Surgery), after just one clinic visitation. No physical exam was conducted by the endocrinologist, no mental health care was provided, and the Testosterone dosage was increased to 60 milligrams on just the second clinic visit, even though medical charts noted worsening side effects like bleeding. Raven Ilene Syed was a victim of Illegal Practice, Reckless Conduct, and committed suicide after being fast-tracked through Gender Affirming Care without parental consent.

Recently a right wing organization used surveillance and body cameras to dig up some dirt on Connecticut queers. Because it’s bad PR (Public Relations) for the transgender community as well as the church, many of us are being complicit by remaining silent.

While being recorded Reverend Aaron Miller describes a trafficking group he calls a “Circus Program” held in Connecticut every other week in Middletown and New Haven without legal guardians knowledge. In the recordings, Aaron Miller refers the child to his accomplice Tony M. Ferraiolo, all while purposely keeping legal guardians in the dark.

During a video meeting, and without a legal guardian present, Tony M. Ferraiolo is caught asking if the child needs access to puberty blockers, testosterone (hormone drug), and if the 12 year old has considered Top Surgery. Top Surgery is a permanent and irreversible double mastectomy procedure that removes the breast tissue.

In a video call meeting Tony M. Ferraiolo grooms by coaching and organizing ways to traffic children to a trafficking site without the legal guardians knowledge.

During an illegal medical supply exchange, a body cam captures Aaron Miller distributing a Breast Binder (compression vest) inside of Metropolitan Community Church of Hartford, which legally are only to be prescribed to adults 18 years of age. The child’s legal guardian is also not present.

What is scary is that Metropolitan Community Church of Hartford is directly next to CREC Transportation Safe House.

It is unknown how long Aaron Miller and his accomplice Tony M. Ferraiolo have been trafficking children. On video Tony M. Ferraiolo states he’s been working with youth since 2005. He describes the trafficking site as “a high school that’s a farm” and “so far out there that nobody knows where it is”. Stating that he’s “helped thousands of kids”.

This year I’m advocating for Displacement Awareness. I’m giving away displaced groceries, wellness supplies, and hosting a private exclusive getaway.

Many areas are being repurposed. Parking access has changed, streets have been turned into one-ways, medians have been added to the roads, investors are purchasing properties and tripling the costs of living. There is no law protecting tenants from rent increases. Do your research on RSS (Relocation Stress Syndrome) to also learn about how this is impacting the elderly population. Politics are displacing consensual spaces and erotic artists who specialize in adult content creation. If you’re seeing the signs, utilize this time wisely in preparation for the inevitable. 🫶 Thank you for the memories as I organize during displacement.

Adult Content Creation Is Real Work. Within many movements erotic communities marched, rallied, protested, and died along side us for our rights. I am trustworthy and known for being very innovative.
